A method for controlling an actuator of a hinged segment including the steps of: estimating an inertia J of the segment and a minimum viscous hinge friction f; estimating or measuring a traveling speed {dot over (X)} of the segment and an internal deformation ΔX of the actuator; synthesizing a control law H.sub.∞ generating a control current (or torque) from the estimates or measurements and meeting a performance objective pertaining to a transfer function (I) between an acceleration {umlaut over (X)} of the segment and an external force F to which the segment is subjected: (II) with (III), ε being a mathematical artifact and s being the Laplace variable; and controlling the actuation of the hinged segment according to the control law thus synthesized.
Touch control of vehicle door locks
A vehicle includes a vehicle door including a vehicle door handle that moves a door latch assembly between a latched configuration and an unlatched configuration. A door lock apparatus is operatively connected to the door latch assembly. An electric motor moves the door lock apparatus between a locked configuration to disallow operation of the door latch assembly using the vehicle door handle and an unlocked configuration that allows operation of the door latch assembly using the vehicle door handle. A door lock control system includes a door lock control zone that is provided on the vehicle door handle. The door lock control zone includes a touch sensor that provides a control signal to an ECU based on an operator touch. The ECU operates the electric motor based on the control signal.

A system and method of engineering configuration data (ECD) collection for an industrial facility having a first control and instrumentation (C&I) system with first ECD using a first file format and a second C&I system with second ECD data using a second file format, and a data collection server. A first data agent has collection information regarding the first C&I system and a second data agent has collection information regarding the second C&I system. The first data agent collects the first ECD and the second data agent collects the second ECD. The first ECD and the second ECD are translated into one common generic data format. The first ECD and the second ECD are stored after being translated.
Forward market renewable energy credit prediction from human behavioral data
Systems and methods for predicting forward market pricing for renewable energy credit based on human behavioral data are disclosed. An example transaction-enabling system may include a forward market circuit to access a forward energy credit market and a market forecasting circuit to automatically generate a forecast for a forward market price of an energy credit in the forward energy credit market where the forecast is based at least in part on a human behavior information collected from at least one human behavioral data source. The example system may further include wherein the energy credit includes a renewable energy credit associated with a renewable energy system, and a smart contract circuit to perform at least one of selling the renewable energy credit or purchasing the renewable energy credit on the forward energy credit market in response to the forecasted forward market price of the energy credit.

Systems and methods for predicting forward market pricing for renewable energy credit based on human behavioral data are disclosed. A system for managing performance of one or more electrical components in real-time is disclosed. The system includes one or more sensors coupled to one or more energy consuming devices and adapted to provide working conditions of the one or more energy consuming devices. Additionally, the system includes a computing device in electrical communication with the one or more sensors and the one or more actuators. The system also includes a database capable of retaining an instruction program for the computing device. The computing device includes a processor that is configured to receive data from the one or more sensors, analyze data from the one or more sensors, and execute the instruction program received from the database in order to optimize operation of the one or more energy consuming devices based on one or more criteria.

A system and method are disclosed for conserving power during navigation, e.g., user device pointer/cursor navigation, using a fingerprint image sensor, that may comprise processing, via a computing device, fingerprint image sensor data indicative of finger position and movement with respect to a fingerprint image sensor surface in a finger navigation mode to determine if the finger is in a first finger navigation mode; processing, via the computing device, fingerprint image sensor data indicative of finger position and movement with respect to a fingerprint image sensor surface in a finger navigation mode to determine if the finger is in a second finger navigation mode; and transitioning, via the computing device, the fingerprint image sensor from a first power consumption mode to a second power consumption mode, based on detecting a transition from the first finger navigation mode to the second finger navigation mode.

The purpose of the present invention is to prevent a reduction in authentication accuracy caused by identity fraud. A score calculation unit compares each of a plurality of types of biological information, acquired as acquired biological information from a target person of identity verification, to the same type of registered biological information registered in advance. Based on the comparison, the score calculation unit calculates an authentication score that expresses the degree of similarity between the acquired biological information and the registered information, for each type of acquired biological information. For each type of the acquired biological information, a probability calculation unit calculates as an identity fraud probability using the calculated authentication score to. A determination unit determines whether the target person of identity verification is the registered person, and/or determines whether the target person of identity verification is fraudulently pretending to be the registered person.
Radio control transmitter
A trigger includes a segment for exercising throttle control and a segment for exercising brake control. A switch is provided in a radio control transmitter. The switch can be depressed by pulling the trigger in a direction of an arrow A. Setting of full throttle can be assigned to the switch. Full throttle can be turned on only when the switch is depressed by the trigger. It is possible to control on/off of the full throttle easily.
