A temperature controller that performs a temperature control on a plurality of temperature adjusters including a reference temperature adjuster to adjust a temperature of a semiconductor wafer includes a setpoint setting section that: sets a temperature detected by a master temperature detector as a control setpoint for a reference one of the temperature adjusters of a master loop, until a temporary setpoint below an actual control setpoint preset as a desired temperature of the semiconductor wafer is reached; and sets the actual control setpoint as the control setpoint for the master loop after the temporary setpoint is reached.

Building management system with linked thermodynamic models for HVAC equipment

A building management system (BMS) includes one or more sensors that measure a variable state or condition in the BMS and a plurality of BMS devices that operate to affect the variable state or condition measured by the one or more sensors. Each of the BMS devices stores a thermodynamic block that models the BMS device. Each of the thermodynamic blocks includes a list of connections and a list of stats. The connections define one or more inputs to the thermodynamic block and one or more outputs from the thermodynamic block. The stats define one or more relationships between the inputs and the outputs. Each of the BMS devices includes a solver configured to perform calculations using the stats and connections defined by the thermodynamic block stored within the BMS device.

REFRIGERANT PIPE AND HEAT PUMP APPARATUS

An object of the present invention is to allow uniform distribution of a refrigerant by a distributor. A refrigerant pipe includes a bent pipe formed in the shape of a curve and a downstream pipe connected to the downstream side of the bent pipe and formed to be linear. A distributor to distribute the refrigerant into a plurality of flow paths is connected to the downstream pipe on the downstream side. An inner wall on the inner peripheral side of the bent pipe being on the side of the curvature center of the curve is a grooved surface with a groove formed therein, and an inner wall on the outer peripheral side of the bent pipe being on the side opposite to the curvature center of the curve is a smooth surface.

HVAC Control

An intercept device for HVAC controls that allows for overrides of local settings, either by onboard processing and storage, or by networked communication with on-premise or off-premise control mechanisms or cloud services. The existing thermostat may be mounted directly to the intercept device, or the intercept device may be located at any other location along the control line between the existing thermostat and the controlled equipment, allowing for retention of the original thermostats interface, controls, and aesthetics. The HVAC control intercept may also incorporate wired or wireless networking functions, and additional onboard controls and displays to allow for direct adjustment of the intercept device settings and operational mode.

Floor-positioned air-conditioning apparatus

A floor-positioned air-conditioning apparatus including a housing including a fan and a heat exchanger; a forward blowing control member rotatably arranged at a forward air outlet formed in a housing front surface at a position near a housing top surface; and an upward blowing control member rotatably arranged at an upward air outlet formed near the housing front surface are included. The forward blowing control member closes the forward air outlet and the upward blowing control member closes the upward air outlet during operation stop. The forward blowing control member closes the forward air outlet and the upward blowing control member is rotated and opens the upward air outlet during cooling operation. The upward blowing control member closes the upward air outlet and the forward blowing control member is rotated and opens the forward air outlet during heating operation.

Systems and methods utilizing a wireless mesh network

In some examples, a wireless controller is utilized within a wireless mesh network. The wireless controller includes a control module configured to manage at least one energy device via a pneumatic pressure line based on one or more parts of an energy profile; and a network interface module configured to transmit energy data to a management server and receive the one or more parts of the energy profile from the management server.

Method and apparatus for controlling the strip temperature of the rapid cooling section of a continuous annealing line

Provided are a method and apparatus for uniformly controlling the strip temperature of the rapid cooling section of a continuous annealing line. A plurality of sets of cooling nozzle blocks for controlling the strip temperature is installed at the front and back sides of the strip, and is divided into lengthwise flow control nozzle blocks and widthwise flow control nozzle blocks. Strip center temperature meters and widthwise direction temperature meters are installed at the intake and discharge sides of the rapid cooling section. Temperatures obtained using the strip center temperature meters and the width direction temperature meters are used to respectively control the spraying of mist for the lengthwise flow control nozzle blocks and the widthwise flow control nozzle blocks in order to uniformly control the strip temperature and minimize changes in the flatness of the strip. The widthwise temperature meters at the intake and discharge ends of the rapid cooling section of the continuous annealing line are used to detect the temperature. Feedback/feedforward control technique can be used to uniformly control the widthwise temperature of the strip through flow rate control over mist sprayed in the widthwise direction of the rapid cooling section.

Process, Apparatus, Controller and System for Producing Petroleum Products

A process and an apparatus for pyrolysis of mixed plastic feedstock producing petroleum products are described. In one example, a process for producing petroleum products includes charging feedstock of mixed polymer materials into a reactor apparatus. Heat energy is applied to the feedstock while advancing the feedstock through the reactor apparatus in an anaerobic operation. The energy input to the reactor apparatus is controlled by controlling a temperature gradient within the reactor vessel to produce petroleum gas product. The process involves in situ chemical reactions comprising cracking and recombination reactions that that are controlled to convert solid hydrocarbonaceous portion of the feedstock to molten fluids and gases inside the reactor vessel and to produce gaseous petroleum products which exit the reactor vessel. The separated solid residue from the pyrolysis process is also removed from the reactions vessel.
