20180074543 · 2018-03-15 ·

A lever latching system comprising: a housing; a lever having a latch pin fixedly mounted to the lever, the lever being movably mounted to the housing so that the latch pin moves in an arc; and a latch plate movably mounted to the housing for linear movement with respect to the housing, the latch plate comprising a labyrinth for receiving the latch pin.

Suggested gate pushback time

A departure sequencing system models airport operations and provides suggested gate pushback times for aircraft. In various embodiments, a departure sequencing system includes an airport state analyzer, a taxi-out predictor, and a pushback optimizer. The departure sequencing system may utilize stochastic models, and resolve aircraft conflicts using a business rules engine. Via use of the departure sequencing system, taxi times may be reduced, taxi fuel burn may be reduced, and airport throughput may be increased.

Electric Servo Dump Gate System On A Crop Duster

The present invention is an Electric servo system which controls and automates gate openings based on GPS speed and position data that results in precise and reliable modern variable and constant rate application. The Electric servo system also allows for Mechanical gate linkages to remain intact, resulting in few changes to the aircraft and redundancy of emergency components. A Mechanical input connect/disconnect is used to effortlessly transfer between the automated Electric servo system and the Mechanical gate system.

Assembly systems for automatically locking, releasable, safety knobs

The present technology relates to an automatically locking, releasable, safety knob assembly for a stove. The assembly includes a base with a locking notch. An adapter mates with the stove's valve stem and has a head, a tubular middle section, and an adapter base with a central aperture for receiving the valve stem. The knob includes a housing with a housing disk covering the base, an arm movement channel aligned with the locking notch in the locked configuration, and a central aperture for receiving the adapter head. The assembly further includes a sub-assembly with a slidable button allowing free rotation of the knob in the unlocked configuration, an automatic locking arm biased with the slidable button, and engagement of the button causing the arm to disengage from the locking notch and move in the arm movement channel, enabling the knob to freely rotate and rotate the valve stem.

Embodiments of the present technology relate to safety knobs. An example automatic locking knob assembly includes a knob, a base, an adapter, and a locking sub-assembly. The locking sub-assembly is configured to automatically lock the knob into place when a valve stem of a stove is in an off position. The locking sub-assembly also allows for controlled rotation of the valve stem of the stove by actuation of buttons associated with the knob.

Control device for an implement system

A control device for an implement system of a machine is provided. The control device is mounted on a support. The control device includes a first gimbal rotatably coupled to the support. The control device also includes a second gimbal rotatably coupled to the first gimbal. The control device further includes a linear actuator having a first end and a second end. The linear actuator is fixed to the second gimbal from the first end. The control device further includes a handle attached to the linear actuator at the second end. The handle is configured to move in conjunction with rotational movements of the first gimbal and the second gimbal, and a linear movement of the linear actuator to control a movement of the implement system.

KNOB ASSEMBLY

A knob assembly is assembled in a housing, to drive a rotary shaft. The housing includes a groove and a perforation. The knob assembly includes a tightening ring, a sliding member, and a knob. The sliding member includes a through hole, a release groove, and a tightening groove. A diameter of the release groove is greater than that of the tightening groove. The knob includes a rotary table and a central shaft. The central shaft is connected to the rotary table, sequentially penetrates through the through hole and the tightening ring to the perforation, and is sleeved on the rotary shaft. When the sliding member is moved from a release position to a locking position, the tightening ring is moved from the release groove to the tightening groove, to enable the tightening ring to tightly wrap the central shaft, so as to fix the knob.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING MECHANISM

A locking mechanism for releasably locking a lock bolt against axial movement includes a solenoid assembly arranged, in use, in proximity to an axially moveable lock bolt. The solenoid assembly includes: a solenoid, a solenoid bias spring and a solenoid plunger having a plunger tip. When the solenoid is energised, the bias spring causes the solenoid plunger to move to bring the plunger tip into locking engagement with the lock bolt to prevent axial movement thereof, and when the solenoid is not energised, the solenoid bias spring causes the solenoid plunger to move to bring the plunger tip out of locking engagement with the lock bolt thus permitting axial movement thereof.

An apparatus for unlocking an actuator, such as a RAT actuator includes a first member; and a second member movable between a blocking position in which said second member is engaged with said first member so as to block movement of said first member and an unblocking position in which said second member is disengaged from said first member so that movement of the first member is not blocked. The first member is an arm arranged such that in the blocking position it is disposed between said second member and a lock release element of said actuator.
