The present invention is an Electric servo system which controls and automates gate openings based on GPS speed and position data that results in precise and reliable modern variable and constant rate application. The Electric servo system also allows for Mechanical gate linkages to remain intact, resulting in few changes to the aircraft and redundancy of emergency components. A Mechanical input connect/disconnect is used to effortlessly transfer between the automated Electric servo system and the Mechanical gate system.

A system and method for generating a 3D model and/or map of a geographic region is disclosed. A computer designates a geographic region and a number of aircraft, and partitions the designated geographic region into sub-regions, creates waypoints within each sub-region, and plans missions for each aircraft to fly to each waypoint and take pictures. The aircraft are configured to accept and perform missions from the computer, and the computer receives images from the aircraft, assigns each image to a sub-region, and transmits each sub-region and images, as well as instructions, to the computing resource. The computing resource executes the instructions, which perform 3D reconstruction and generate orthophotos and 3D models. The 3D reconstruction comprises trimming distorted portions of the orthophotos and 3D models, and merging the orthophotos and 3D models from each sub-region into a 3D model and/or map of the geographic region.

The twist lock piece is configured to pass through the housing cover aperture and engage the lock piece cylinder and to disengage the lock piece cylinder by rotating the twist lock piece within the lock piece cylinder.

Additional controls may be employed to set a maximum cruising speed for the work machine when cruise control is engaged.

A knob assembly for a gas valve of a cooking appliance and a method of assembling said knob assembly is provided. The knob assembly can include a knob configured to engage a valve stem of the gas valve and a lock assembly including a locking element and a locking plate. The locking element can include at least one cam element that can be engaged by at least one projection carried by the locking plate. The locking plate can be configured to rotate relative to the locking element between a first position in which the at least one projection engages the at least one cam element and a second position in which the at least one projection is disengaged from the at least one cam element, and wherein in the first position the at least one cam element inhibits actuation of the gas valve by the knob.
