Stability and command augmentation system for an aircraft, and stabilization and control method of an aircraft

A stability and command augmentation system for controlling an aircraft, comprising: a first member moveable by a pilot input device to a first position defining a first input; a second member moveable to a second position associated with a second input; and an adder device configured to add the first and second inputs and supply an output signal defining a command for an element to be controlled of the aircraft; the stability and command augmentation system comprises: a casing, a first and a second piston integrally movable with one another inside the casing and operatively connected to the second member; and control means configured to exert a first force on the first piston and a second force on the second piston; the second force is independent of the first force.

RECIPROCATING PEDALS WITH DUAL-LEVERED CAM FOR ASYMMETRIC RECIPROCATION

A lift truck employs forward and reverse pedals connected through respective cams having different upper and lower cam profiles that engage to provide asymmetric reciprocal pedal motion. For example, first pedal depression causes a first cam upper profile to engage with a second cam upper profile and cause increased elevation of a second pedal, and first pedal depression causes a first cam lower profile to disengage with a second cam lower profile associated with the second pedal, such that first pedal depression is greater than the increased elevation of the second pedal.

Work vehicle

A work vehicle includes a link mechanism to be equipped with a work implement, a drive mechanism to drive the link mechanism to ascend and descend the work implement, and a control lever is to be operated to ascend and descend the work implement. The work vehicle includes a first displacement transmission mechanism, an additional operational mechanism, and a second displacement transmission mechanism. The first displacement transmission mechanism links the drive mechanism and the control lever to transmit a displacement of the control lever to the drive mechanism. The additional operational mechanism is configured to operate the control lever at a location apart from a position of the control lever. The second displacement transmission mechanism mechanically links the additional operational mechanism and the control lever without interposing the first displacement transmission mechanism to shift the control lever in accordance with an operation of the additional operational mechanism.

The invention relates to an improved throttle control system for an aircraft. The throttle system includes providing friction to the throttle to maintain the position of the throttle until the pilot overcomes the friction by using force to move the throttle. The throttle is attached to and positioned about a shaft to provide rotatable movement. The invention uses a first and second friction resistance to maintain the position of the throttle along with an automatic regulating device capable of automatically controlling rotation of the shaft having a geared motor assembly.

The present invention makes it possible to avoid the risk of a brake operation system for emergency stopping not operating normally during autonomous travel of a work vehicle. A work vehicle is provided with: a foot brake for braking left and right rear wheels; an autonomous travel unit that enables autonomous travel of the vehicle; and an electric actuator for switching the foot brake between a braking state and a release state. The autonomous travel unit comprises a control unit for controlling the operation of the electric actuator. When an autonomous travel mode is selected by human operation of a mode selection unit, the control unit performs operation verification processing in which it is verified by operation control of the electric actuator whether the foot brake is operating normally, and when it is verified that the foot brake is operating normally in the operation verification processing, said control unit transitions to a completed operation verification state and allows the travel mode to transition from a manual travel mode to the autonomous travel mode.
