A hand hygiene on board of a vehicle includes a washing device including a water supply device, a basin device with a hand receiving device and a water collecting region with a discharge opening, and a drying device including an air discharge device for generating an air stream in the hand receiving region The air discharge device is connected to the hand receiving region and a negative pressure device connected to the air discharge device. The stream of air for the hand drying process is generatable by the negative pressure device. The air discharge device is connected to the discharge opening of the basin device such that air and fluids are discharged via the discharge opening, which forms a common disposal opening. The negative pressure device is additionally designed for suctioning solids thrown into the water collecting region, besides fluids, for disposal over the common disposal opening.

Systems and methods for a multi-function lavatory fixture are disclosed. The lavatory fixture includes a first and second leg, where a first end of each leg is configured to be mounted to a deck and a second end of each leg is located over a basin of the lavatory fixture. A connecting section extends between the second ends of each leg and includes outlets to dispense water and soap to wash a user's hands. The fixture also includes indicators located proximate each of the outlets to indicate to the user the location of each outlet. A sensor located near each outlet identifies the presence of a user's hands near the outlet and dispenses water and soap, accordingly. A controller within the lavatory fixture receives inputs from each sensor and activates the appropriate pump or valve to deliver the desired product at the appropriate outlet.

An apparatus, method and system for providing and dispensing various hand care alternatives from a common point of dispension, such as a faucet, for standardizing the hand care, washing, sanitizing, and drying process is disclosed. Included is a liquid flow path having an inlet in fluid communication with a liquid source and an outlet in fluid communication with a user reception point. A hand washing system, comprising a reagent and water dispensing unit connected to a server. The dispensing unit comprises a personal identification unit, a reagent dispenser, a connection to a water source, one or more sensors for monitoring the handwashing act, and a controller comprising processor and memory for operating the dispensing unit and for storing handwashing data parameters. The server receives and analyzes handwashing data parameters. When an individual approaches the dispensing unit the identification unit identifies the individual, the one or more sensors confirm that the individual's hands are at location apt for receiving reagent from the reagent dispenser and water for at least a predetermined amount of time and the processor sends the server handwashing data parameters.
