An embodiment of a semiconductor package apparatus may include technology to load compressed symbols in a data stream into a first content accessible memory, break a serial dependency of the compressed symbols in the compressed data stream, and decode more than one symbol per clock. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

Standardized interface for storage using an input/output (I/O) adapter device

An I/O (Input/Output) adapter device can present itself as a storage backend driver with an emulated storage backend driver interface to a corresponding storage frontend driver executing from an operating system running on a host device independent of a virtualization or non-virtualization environment. For each guest operating system executing from its respective virtual machine running on the host device, para-virtualized (PV) frontend drivers can communicate with corresponding PV backend drivers implemented by the I/O adapter device using a corresponding virtual function by utilizing SR-IOV (single root I/O virtualization) functionality.

Buffer device and convolution operation device and method
10162799 · 2018-12-25 · ·

A buffer device includes input lines, an input buffer unit and a remapping unit. The input lines are coupled to a memory and configured to be inputted with data from the memory in a current clock. The input buffer unit is coupled to the input lines and configured to buffer one part of the inputted data and output the part of the inputted data in a later clock. The remapping unit is coupled to the input lines and the input buffer unit, and configured to generate remap data for a convolution operation according to the data on the input lines and the output of the input buffer unit in the current clock. A convolution operation method for a data stream is also disclosed.

Display system with a flexible display

A display system includes a continuous flexible display, two book halves, two main display supports, and a movement synchronizing coupling. The two book halves is connected to each other via a hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism has two hinges, and each hinge is rotatable about respective axis. Each of the two main display supports connects to one of the two book halves and is configured to support the flexible display. The coupling is connected to the two main display supports and rotating about a rotation axis that is parallel to the axis of hinge to enable a synchronized movement of the two main display supports.

Superconducting devices with enforced directionality

Superconducting devices with enforced directionality and related methods are provided. In one example, a device including a first Josephson junction transmission line (JTL) for propagating a first set of quantum signals in a first direction and a second JTL for propagating a second set of quantum signals in the first direction is provided. The device may include a logic gate having a first input terminal for receiving the first set of quantum signals via the first JTL, and a second input terminal. The device may include a unidirectional buffer having a first input terminal for receiving the second set of quantum signals via the second JTL and an output terminal for coupling the second set of quantum signals to the second input terminal of the logic gate, where the unidirectional buffer may be configured to propagate quantum signals in only the first direction.

Time-division multiplexed data bus interface

An audio system bus has a bus data line and a bus clock line. Audio producers are coupled to the bus to form a time-division multiplexed multi drop bus interface arrangement having protocol slots 0, 1, . . . N where N is an integer greater than two. A bus device is coupled to the bus that produces a) a frame marker on the bus data line in slot 0, and b) a data bit on the bus data line in slot 1. The audio producers are to produce their respective audio data bits in their assigned slots other than slots 0 and 1. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

Display control apparatus

A display control apparatus assigning display images to multiple areas of a vehicle-mounted display is disclosed. The display control apparatus stores area relationship information for each of the areas and image relationship information for each of the display images. Of two display images related to each other, the display control apparatus determines that one display image belongs to a first image group and the other display image belongs to a second image group. The display control apparatus assigns the one display image to the areas by performing a predetermined comparison operation, and then assigns the other display image to the areas based on the area assigned the one display image and the area relationship information.
