Enhanced regenerative braking control method for brake booster pressure build-up delay compensation

A regenerative braking control method. An illustrative embodiment of the method includes selecting a vehicle speed at onset of transition from regenerative braking to friction braking of a vehicle, comparing the vehicle speed to a threshold value, applying a delayed regenerative braking torque ramp out to a hybrid powertrain and sending an undelayed regenerative braking torque ramp-out signal to a vehicle brake controller without at onset of transition from regenerative braking to friction braking of the vehicle if the vehicle speed falls below the threshold value.

A software application that is able to manage a collection of robot repairing resources can be used to assist technicians in repairing and solving hardware or software malfunctions within an electro-mechanical robot. The software application is able to simultaneous monitor multiple different electro-mechanical robots by receiving diagnostic information from them. The software application can identify a malfunction within one of the electro-mechanical robots by comparing its diagnostic information against a set of robot repair manuals. The software application will then select an optimal AI algorithm that has the best chance of repairing the hardware or software malfunction. The software application continues by implementing the optimal AI algorithm with a set of cloud accessible robot repairing applications, a technician's intervention, or a combination thereof.

A vehicle control system includes an acceleration generating device (engine, T/M) that generates an acceleration applied to a vehicle, and a vehicle control device that controls the acceleration generating device, based on an accelerator pedal stroke representing an operation of an accelerator pedal by a driver, and a vehicle speed of the vehicle. In the vehicle control system or method, the vehicle control device controls the acceleration generating device, based on a required acceleration that is determined based on a relationship between the accelerator pedal stroke and the required acceleration, including, as a condition, an acceleration corresponding to a given accelerator pedal stroke, which is specified by a relationship between the vehicle speed and the acceleration when the accelerator pedal stroke is held at the given value.

Fast quantum feedback using analog integration and control pulse gating

The technology is generally directed towards a pulse generation component that outputs a control pulse with a timing delay. A qubit state decision component uses an analog kernel to perform a linear filtering operation on (e.g., multiplies and integrates) a qubit signal to obtain a result corresponding to a qubit state, and compares the result to a threshold value to determine a measurement outcome result corresponding to the qubit state. A conditional gate component conditionally gates the control pulse based on the measurement outcome result.

Embodiments of the invention relate to a time-division multiplexed neurosynaptic module with implicit memory addressing for implementing a universal substrate of adaptation. One embodiment comprises a neurosynaptic device including a memory device that maintains neuron attributes for multiple neurons. The module further includes multiple bit maps that maintain incoming firing events for different periods of delay and a multi-way processor. The processor includes a memory array that maintains a plurality of synaptic weights. The processor integrates incoming firing events in a time-division multiplexing manner. Incoming firing events are integrated based on the neuron attributes and the synaptic weights maintained.

Latent feature based tag routing

Features are disclosed for identifying and routing items for tagging using a latent feature model, such as a recurrent neural network language model (RNNLM). The model may be trained to identify latent features for catalog items such as movies, books, food items, beverages, and the like. Based on similarities in latent features, tags previous assigned to items may be applied to untagged items. Application may be manual or automatic. In either case, resources need to be balances to ensure efficient tagging of items. The included features help to identify and direct these limited tagging resources.
