A mobile terminal that communicates with an image processing apparatus including a scanning function includes a display unit that displays a screen, a first instruction unit that, when the display unit displays a specific screen corresponding to the scanning function, instructs the image processing apparatus to activate a specific application corresponding to the scanning function, and a second instruction unit that, when the mobile terminal receives an instruction to perform the scanning function, instructs the image processing apparatus to perform the scanning function.

A server disclosed herein may include a controller configured to: receive a location information request for requesting sending of location information from a function executing device; receive a first screen request including the location information from a first terminal device that has obtained the location information; send screen data representing the setting change screen to the first terminal device; receive a change request for requesting a change of the setting information from the first terminal device; and in a case where the change request is received from the first terminal device, change the setting information in the memory according to the change request.

Each of the plurality of setting values associated with respective ones of a plurality of pieces of device-specific information is for setting a prescribed parameter of a corresponding device. After the target value is imported, the controller operates according to the target value set for the prescribed parameter.

A print plugin different from an application displaying an application screen on a terminal may be unable to display a screen over the application screen at timing unintended by a user. In such a case, the print plugin is unable to display a warning screen for notifying the user of a warning related to print processing, and the user is unable to be informed of occurrence of the warning. If the warning screen is unable to be displayed over the application screen, the print plugin instructs the terminal to issue a notification for calling the warning screen.

A method and system for producing electronic label are disclosed. The electronic label includes a first substrate and a second substrate. Layout information associated with the electronic label is developed. The layout information is automatically processed to develop print commands, circuit layout information, and component placement information therefrom. Information is printed on the first substrate in accordance with the print information and a conductive trace is deposited on the second substrate in accordance with circuit layout information. Components are placed on the deposited conductive trace in accordance with the component placement information.
