Two-dimensional code generation and identification
A two-dimensional code generation method and apparatus, a two-dimensional code identification method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium are provided. The method includes generating a data codeword sequence according to input information, encrypting the data codeword sequence to generate an encrypted codeword sequence, determining a number of error correction blocks, and generating the two-dimensional code from the data codeword sequence and the encrypted codeword sequence according to a construction mode corresponding to the number of error correction blocks.
Apparatus enabling secure wireless access to an enclosure
An apparatus for more efficiently enabling secure access to an enclosure is described herein. The apparatus may include a wireless transmitter in a selectably opaque container, a wireless transceiver, a GPS receiver, an NFC transmitter and/or receiver, one or more hardware processors, and hardware memory. The hardware memory stores instructions for receiving a current location of the apparatus and comparing that location to a delivery address of the enclosure. As the location is within a certain range of the delivery address the apparatus sends a request to a cloud-based server for a hash digest masking an acceptable input for an access control mechanism associated with the enclosure. The apparatus receives the hash digest and forwards it to the access control mechanism via the wireless transmitter. Computer executable code for handling such tasks, and a cloud-based server for generating the hash digest, are also described herein.
System and method for inserting owned media content into mobile applications
A method includes transmitting a request to a server from a mobile device. The request may be initiated by an application executing on the mobile device. The method includes receiving a message at the mobile device from the server. The message may include first validation information and information indicating a location where the mobile device can retrieve content. The method includes retrieving the content from the location indicated in the message, and generating second validation information based on the retrieved content. The method includes validating the content based on a comparison of the first validation information and the second validation information. The method includes selectively storing the content based on whether the validation of the content indicates the content is valid. The content may be stored for subsequent publication at the mobile device via the application. The content may be published while the mobile device is offline.
Point of sale payment method
The present disclosure describes making a payment transaction between a customer and a merchant using a payment card of the customer including: transmitting details of the payment transaction from a mobile device to a remote server; capturing at least one image of the payment card using the mobile device of the merchant; transmitting the at least one image of the payment card to the remote server; identifying, by the remote server, the merchant and the payment card captured in the at least one image; and implementing the payment transaction between bank accounts of the customer and the merchant.
Detecting specified image identifiers on objects
Embodiments of the present application relate to a method, apparatus, and system for detecting a specified image identifier. The method includes retrieving a target image to be detected from a predetermined area, binarizing the target image to be detected to obtain a target binary image to be detected, calibrating connected domains of the target binary image to be detected, successively retrieving image features of candidate connected domains, and comparing the image features corresponding to the candidate connected domains to image features of a standard specified identifier image, wherein the candidate connected domains are determined based at least in part on the calibration of the connected domains, and determining a candidate connected domain as the location of the specified identifier image based at least in part on the comparison of the image features corresponding to the candidate connected domains to image features of the standard specified identifier image.
Power management circuitry in peripheral accessories of audio devices
A power management circuitry for a peripheral electronic device includes a power regeneration circuitry, a power selector, a power switch and an audio signal detection circuitry. The power regeneration circuitry receives a continuous periodic sound wave from an audio device and converts the continuous periodic sound wave into an amplified DC electrical signal. The power source selector receives the amplified DC electrical signal and input from a primary power source and provides a power signal output. The audio signal detection circuitry receives the amplified DC electrical signal and transmits a wake-up signal to the power switch circuitry. The power switch circuitry is turned on by the wake-up signal and connects the power source selector to the peripheral electronic device main circuitry and transfers the power signal output to the peripheral electronic device main circuitry.
Automatic touch identification system and method thereof
An automatic identification system for communicating identifying information by coupling signals through the human body is provided. The system includes a battery powered identification device that transmits an identifying signal via a modulated carrier. The identification device is coupled to the body of the user via a coupling plate. The signal from the identification device is received by a reading device that is also coupled to the body of the user via a coupling plate. The reading device may display and/or enunciates the identifying information to the user. The coupling technique, carrier frequency, and construction of the devices are such that the identification information is not inadvertently radiated or coupled to unintentional users or receivers.
Non-payment communications using payment transaction network
A communication channel is provided between a transaction acquirer and a payment network, for the purpose of transmitting payment card account transaction authorization requests. Via the communication channel the payment network may receive a message containing additional information. The additional information may originate at the point of sale and may be in addition to a PAN (primary account number) or the like. The payment network may send a message including the additional information to an entity that is neither a payment account issuer nor the transaction acquirer.
Systems and methods for using motion pattern of a user for authentication
Systems and methods for using accelerations derived from a motion pattern for multi-factor authentication, the method including receiving, filtering, and determining an identifying pattern from acceleration data representative of the user and using the identifying pattern for secured access authentication.
Dynamic marker responsive to emitted light
Techniques for improving efficiency of an inventory system are described. In an example, based on instructions of a computing management module of an inventory system, a trigger associated with reading a marker may be triggered. The marker may be attached with an item available from an inventory space and may encode information about the item. The marker may be configured to present, in response to receiving a non-visible light wavelength, a visible indication of an attachment location of the marker. Further, based on the instructions and at least in part on the trigger, a light source may emit the non-visible light wavelength. The emission of the non-visible light wavelength may cause the marker to respond with the visible indication of the attachment location. The visible indication may facilitate a read of the marker by a reader of the inventory system to trigger an inventory action.
