This learning device is provided with: a simulation execution unit that, by using electromagnetic field analysis simulation, determines a reflected wave spectrum obtained when electromagnetic waves are emitted from a reader to an identification target; and a machine learning unit that, by using training data in which the reflected wave spectrum calculated by the simulation execution unit and an attribute thereof are defined as a set, performs a training process on a learning model by machine learning. The simulation execution unit generates a plurality of the reflected wave spectra belonging to the same attribute by variously changing various parameters related to the identification target from reference parameters. The machine learning unit performs a training process on the learning model by machine learning by using, as training data, the plurality of reflected wave spectra obtained for each attribute.

The first guide member may include insulating material and the second guide member may include conductive material. The electrostatic capacitance sensor may be attached to the first guide member.

A confidence factor is determined using a first degree of trust, assigned to the object, combined with a second degree of match between the stored biometric data and the sensed biometric data. A user input is received indicating a desired activity. A risk factor is determined based on a combination of the confidence factor and the user input. The risk factor is compared to a selected pre-determined threshold. The user is granted a selected level of access to the security device from among different levels of access to the security device when the risk factor satisfies the selected pre-determined threshold.

A removing unit removes a tray storing a storage member. A removal detector detects an operation of starting removal of the tray before the removing unit removes the tray. A power controller stopping power supplying to the storage member when the removal detector detects the operation of starting the removal of the tray may be employed. The present technique may be applied, e.g., to a personal computer.

The invention discloses a high-speed tunnel for the reading and mass encoding of RFID labels contained in a package, integrated in a housing with respective counterposed inlet and outlet orifices, and in the interior whereof a transport means is established, by means of which the package is displaced; likewise one or more high-power antennas for the measurement of RFID labels and a photocell for the detection of the entry of packages into the tunnel; these elements being controlled by means of a control unit associated with an electrical switchboard. A number of guillotine doors or box doors in the tunnel enable the rapid identification and encoding of the labels of the elements present in a package by means of RFID technology, yielding a device of reduced dimensions.
