Automated, dynamic digital financial management method and system
An automated, dynamic digital financial management tool is described herein. The financial management tool enables a user to access all forms of payments, debt and transactions to be deducted automatically depending on which form of payment is chosen. The financial management tool documents every item/service purchased. The documentation enables a company/manufacturer/store to provide marketing and recall information to the user. The financial management tool is able to include any and/or all financial aspects of a user's life. The financial management tool is able to be implemented using a universal card. The financial management tool is able to include a pay station to receive payments. The financial management tool is able to include automated services.
Payment terminal evaluator
A payment terminal evaluator includes a contact structure and a card structure. The contact structure intersects a rectangular space such that part of the contact structure is within the rectangular space and part of the contact structure is outside of the rectangular space. The card structure extends from the contact structure and is positioned entirely within the rectangular space. The card structure includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, a second side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, a first tab defined in part by the top surface, the bottom surface and the first side surface, a second tab defined in part by the top surface, the bottom surface and the second side surface, and an opening between the first tab and the second tab.
Barcode-reading system
This patent specification describes a barcode-reading enhancement accessory for a mobile device having a barcode-reading capability. The accessory may include an outer case and an inner carriage. A mobile device is encased in the inner carriage, and the combination of the inner carriage and the mobile device may be accommodated in the outer case. The inner carriage is configured to accommodate a mobile device of a particular size such that a mobile device of a different size may be accommodated in the outer case using a different inner carriage. The accessory may also include an optic system to fold an optical path of a field of illumination of a light source of the mobile device and/or a field of view of a camera of the mobile device.
Tracking locations and conditions of objects based on RFID signals
Locations and conditions of objects within a working environment may be tracked using RFID signals. A working surface within the environment may include a plurality of RFID antennas, and the objects to be tracked may include RFID tags. When one of the objects passes within an operational range of one of the antennas, an RFID signal is transmitted from the tag on the object to the antenna, and the location of the object may be determined based on the location of the antenna. Additionally, where a plurality of tags that are specially associated with a different aspect of a condition of an object are provided thereon, the condition of the object may be determined based on a number of the tags from which RFID signals are received, and the aspects of the condition with which each of such tags is associated.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a card interface and a processing module. The card interface is electrically connected to the processing module, and a SIM card or a memory card may be inserted into the card interface. The card interface includes 8 springs, where N>1; when a memory card is inserted into the card interface, the memory card is electrically connected to the processing module; and when a SIM card is inserted into the card interface, the SIM card is electrically connected to the processing module, and one metal pin of the SIM card is electrically connected to a first spring in the N springs and one spring adjacent to the first spring. The processing module is configured to determine, based on at least a level of the first spring, that an inserted card is a SIM card or a memory card.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SENSING STRUCTURE
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a first housing; a second housing coupled to the first housing and configured to be slidable a specified reciprocating distance; a bendable support which forms the same plane according to retracted/expanded states; a flexible display; a sensing member; and a conductive member which is bendable such that the contact of the conductive member with the sensing member can be changed according to the sliding operation of the second housing.
Liquid Impervious Smart Card Reader
Some embodiments include a smart card reader system that includes a card reader cavity that is impervious to liquid. The card reader cavity includes a secure card reader (SCR) holder bonded to a printed circuit board (PCB), to provide a liquid barrier between the SCR holder and the PCB. The PCB includes an SCR spring contact connector. The card reader cavity can receive a smart card including an integrated circuit (IC), where the IC is coupled to the SCR spring contact connector. A processor coupled to the SCR spring contact connector, can receive an input regarding a transaction using data of the smart card, and execute the transaction. In some embodiments a roller system seals the card reader cavity when the smart card reader system is not in use.
Methods, systems and devices for electronic article surveillance deactivation having randomized transmission rates
Methods, systems and devices for providing an interrogation signal from a handheld deactivation device for identifying a security tag. Identifying the security tag includes initiating an interrogation signal, wherein the interrogation signal includes plurality of transmission bursts and a plurality of random time periods to wait between transmission bursts such that a unique time period elapses between each of the plurality of transmission bursts. The interrogation signal is then transmitted by transmitting each of the plurality of transmission bursts for a portion of a duty cycle and interrupting transmission between each of the plurality of transmission bursts for one of the plurality of random time periods such that a unique and random time period elapses between each of the plurality of transmission bursts. The period transmission of the interrogation signal provides for improved battery life of a handheld scanning and deactivation device.
Multifunctional Portable Data Card and Data Transmission Method
A multifunctional portable data card and a data transmission method are provided. The data card includes a main control module, a gear selection module, a data transmission module, an interface module and a storage module. The main control module detects a gear selection signal generated by the gear selection module, and sends a corresponding operation command to the data transmission module according to a working mode corresponding to the gear selection signal; the data transmission module performs data transmission in the data transmission mode or the OTG data processing mode after receiving the operation command; the interface module provides a port for interaction between the multifunctional portable data card and an external device; and the data card further includes the storage module.
Secure credit card with near field communications
A near field communication device included in a secure transaction card provides an addition and/or transitional communication link for communicating secure transaction information. The near field communication device may be selectively engaged or disengaged and, when engaged, either active or passive modes of operation of the near field communication device can be selected. in the active mode, secure transaction information is transmitted upon establishment of a communication link with a complementary near field communication device. In the passive mode, secure transaction information is transmitted upon interrogation from a complementary near field communication device. Secure transaction information is generated and stored for transmission in a memory and at least a portion of the memory is erased or nulled upon transmission or upon expiration of a selected period of time.
