A method for addressing a shopper's eligibility for frictionless checkout may include identifying at least one shopper in a retail store designated as not eligible for frictionless checkout; in response to the identification of the at least one shopper designated as not eligible for frictionless checkout, automatically identifying an ineligibility condition associated with the at least one shopper's designation as not eligible for frictionless checkout; determining one or more actions for resolving the ineligibility condition; causing implementation of the one or more actions for resolving the ineligibility condition; receiving an indication of successful completion of the one or more actions; and in response to receipt of the indication of successful completion of the one more actions, generating a status indicator indicating that the at least one shopper is eligible for frictionless checkout and storing the generated status indicator in a memory.

The estimated completion time is based on at least one service condition, which may include the availability of servicing tools and components, the availability of service provider employees, the priority status, if any, of the service provider transaction, and the level of difficulty of service provider transaction, among others. Preferably, the service conditions include constant or variable associated values. The completion time is calculated based upon a sum of these values. If an unexpected service need or service delay arises, the service provider transaction status is updated, which includes recalculating the estimated time of completion based on a new service condition that arose from the unexpected need or delay. When the service provider transaction is complete, the customer reviews the transaction, confirms that the service provider transaction is complete, and schedules a service completion event.

In some embodiments, the method comprises: causing a first video content item to be presented on a user device of a user, wherein the video content item is provided by a video sharing service; identifying a promotion for the video sharing service that is to be presented to the user during a time window; determining a probability that the user will select the promotion if the promotion is presented at a first time point within the time window in connection with the first video content item; determining whether to present the promotion at the first time point based on at least on the probability; in response to determining that the promotion is to be presented at the first time point, causing the promotion to be presented on the user device at the first time point in connection with the first video content item; and, in response to determining that the promotion is not to be presented at the first time point, causing the promotion to be presented on the user device at a second time point in connection with a second video content item, wherein the second time point is within the time window and wherein the second time point is after the first time point.
