Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes generating a virtual venue for the virtual reality space, wherein the generating the virtual venue including replicating an architecture of a venue associated with the event and generating a plurality of virtual stores for the virtual venue, wherein each virtual store is associated with each participant of the plurality of participants, accessing a plurality of cameras and a plurality of microphones associated with the event, generating the virtual reality space based on the plurality of participants, the virtual venue, the plurality of microphones, and the plurality of cameras, generating a plurality of images for each participant of the plurality of participants according to each profile for each participant of the plurality of participants to participate in the event, and presenting the virtual reality space to user equipment in a virtual reality format. The present application discloses an information processing method. The method includes: acquiring a resource package parameter determined by a sender client; invoking an interface with a second server, and acquiring a current conversion rate that is between the first-type resource and a second-type resource and is issued by the second server; calculating a quantity of second-type resources equal in value to the first quantity of first-type resources according to the conversion rate, and using the quantity as a second quantity; deducting the second quantity of second-type resources from a second-type resource account of the sender client, and generating at least one resource package, a sum of quantities corresponding to the at least one resource package being equal to the first quantity; and distributing the at least one resource package to at least one receiver client by using the link information.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining, by a system comprising a processor, a driver profile according to a driver identity for a driver of a vehicle, selecting a driver-specific enforcement scenario for the vehicle according to the driver profile and traffic enforcement information that is associated with a vehicle location, and presenting an in-vehicle alert to convey the driver-specific enforcement scenario to the driver. A smart assistant is disclosed that provides for interfaces to capture requirements for a technical assistance request and then execute actions responsive to the technical assistance request. Example embodiments relate to parsing natural language input defining a technical assistance request to determine a series of instructions responsive to the technical assistance request. The smart assistant may also automatically detect a condition and generate a technical assistance request responsive to the condition. One or more driver applications may control or command one or more computing systems to respond to the technical assistance request.

Systems and methods for automatically locating web-based social network members are provided. According to one embodiment, contact content including an associated GPS identifier and status for web-based social network members located at or near the same location automatically appears on a GPS-enabled device. A further exemplary system includes a GPS-enabled device configured to receive a GPS identifier and a status representing a location and a current state for a web-based social network member, a processing module that associates the received GPS-identifier and the received status, and a communications module that sends the associated GPS-identifier and status to a server comprising a web-based social network database. Contact content in a web-based social network database record in the web-based social network database is updated to include the associated GPS identifier and status for the web-based social network member.

In one embodiment, device status information is received from a mobile device of a first user. The device status information may include: information related to power for the device, information related to network connectivity of the device, or a notification mode of the device. Outgoing messages may be identified to be sent to the first user. A value may be computed for each of the outgoing messages. The computed value may be based on an affinity score determined with respect to an originator of the message and the first user. Based on the computed value, at least one of the outgoing messages may be selected for placement into an outgoing message queue. Upon the detection of a triggering condition, the selected messages may be sent to the mobile device. The triggering condition may be based on the device status information and the respective values of the outgoing messages.

Social networking system users may create events where a group of other users invited to the event meet at a specified time and location. The social networking system suggests users to invite to an event based on a prediction that the users would attend the event if invited. Various factors may be used to make the prediction, such as an affinity between the inviting user and the other users, the availability of the other users at the time of the event and/or the proximity of the other users to the location of the event. An inviting user receives the suggested users and selects suggested users to invite to the event or invitations may be automatically sent to the suggested users by the social networking system.

Techniques to share images in a social networking system. In an embodiment, an image is received from a first user, the image is associated with a first archive of the first user within a social networking system, and the image is associated with a second archive of a second user within the social networking system without the social networking system receiving a request from the second user to download the image.

The image may be received from a mobile device. The image may be captured by a camera of a mobile device. The image may be automatically uploaded from a mobile device. A request may be received from the second user to include the image in the second archive associated with the second user. Associating the image with the second archive of the second user may comprise including a link to the image in the second archive.

Separate user accounts can be linked into a group of linked user accounts so that content items assigned to each of the user accounts can be accessed by each user account in the group. Linking user accounts in this way allows the individual user accounts to share content items while also retaining their individual properties such as username, password, preference data, etc. Linking user accounts allows each user account to retain the content items assigned to the user account when the user account is unlinked from the group. Linking user accounts can be restricted according to linking rules that dictate how many user accounts can be included in a group, when a user account can be added or removed from a group, etc. A master user account can set parameters restricting content items accessible to the user accounts in the group, as well as money spent be each user account.

The present disclosure discloses a method and a computer server for searching for a short-distance object and pertains to the field of mobile terminal technologies. The method includes: receiving a short-distance object search request sent by a target terminal; obtaining location information of the target terminal from the short-distance object search request; separately determining, according to the location information of the target terminal, location information of prestored objects for short-distance object search, and multiple preset distance ranges, objects whose distances from the target terminal fall within each distance range, to obtain one or more objects corresponding to each distance range; separately randomly selecting at least one to-be-presented object from the one or more objects corresponding to each distance range; and returning the to-be-presented objects to be presented on the target terminal. By means of the present disclosure, effectiveness of a short-distance object search function can be enhanced.
