Method and device for inpainting of colourised three-dimensional point clouds
A method for colourising a three-dimensional point cloud including surveying a point cloud with a surveying instrument. Each point of the point cloud may be characterised by coordinates within an instrument coordinate system having an instrument center. The method may include capturing a first image of the setting with a first camera. Each pixel value of the first image is assigned coordinates within a first camera coordinate system having a first projection center as origin and a first parallax shift relative to the instrument center. The method may include transforming the point cloud from the instrument coordinate system into the first camera coordinate system, resulting in a first transformed point cloud, detecting one or more uncovered points within the first transformed point cloud which are openly visible from the first projection center, and for each uncovered point, assigning a pixel value having corresponding coordinates in the first camera coordinate system.
Optical distortion correction for imaged samples
Techniques are described for dynamically correcting image distortion during imaging of a patterned sample having repeating spots. Different sets of image distortion correction coefficients may be calculated for different regions of a sample during a first imaging cycle of a multicycle imaging run and subsequently applied in real time to image data generated during subsequent cycles. In one implementation, image distortion correction coefficients may be calculated for an image of a patterned sample having repeated spots by: estimating an affine transform of the image; sharpening the image; and iteratively searching for an optimal set of distortion correction coefficients for the sharpened image, where iteratively searching for the optimal set of distortion correction coefficients for the sharpened image includes calculating a mean chastity for spot locations in the image, and where the estimated affine transform is applied during each iteration of the search.
Distortion calibration glasses, distortion correction head-up display device and system, image display distortion correction method and in-vehicle system
Glasses, a head-up display device and system, and an in-vehicle system for distortion calibration are provided, as well as a distortion correction method. The glasses include a first lens, a second lens, and a correction structure. The correction structure includes first and second standard plates and a polarizers having first and second polarization directions corresponding to the first and second lenses, respectively. The first and second standard plates are configured to enable the head-up display device to generate first and second correction images after receiving first and second distortion images of the first and second standard plates, respectively, based on the first and second distortion degrees of the first and second standard plates, respectively, and on an image to be displayed. The first polarized direction is perpendicular to the second polarized direction.
Apparatus and method for ray tracing instruction processing and execution
An apparatus and method to execute ray tracing instructions. For example, one embodiment of an apparatus comprises execution circuitry to execute a dequantize instruction to convert a plurality of quantized data values to a plurality of dequantized data values, the dequantize instruction including a first source operand to identify a plurality of packed quantized data values in a source register and a destination operand to identify a destination register in which to store a plurality of packed dequantized data values, wherein the execution circuitry is to convert each packed quantized data value in the source register to a floating point value, to multiply the floating point value by a first value to generate a first product and to add the first product to a second value to generate a dequantized data value, and to store the dequantized data value in a packed data element location in the destination register.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACCELERATED MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) RECONSTRUCTION AND SAMPLING
The following relates generally to accelerated magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reconstruction. In some embodiments, a MRI machine learning algorithm is trained based on reference MRI data in non-Cartesian k-space. During the training, at each iteration of a plurality of iterations: (i) a non-Cartesian sampling trajectory ω may be optimized under the physical constraints, and/or (ii) an image reconstructor may be jointly iteratively optimized. Examples of the image reconstructor include a convolutional neural network (CNN) denoiser, a model-based deep learning (MoDL) image reconstructor, iterative image reconstructor, a regularizer, and an invertible neural network.
