A sample storage device executes acquisition processing of acquiring an album created by combining a template with an image, alteration processing of altering a face of a person included in the image in the album to a state where specifying an individual is difficult, and storage processing of storing the album on which the alteration processing is performed in a database as a sample to be used for creating a new album.

Systems and methods for reconstructing medical images are disclosed. Measurement data from positron emission tomography (PET) data, and measurement data from an anatomy modality, such as magnetic resonance (MR) data or computed tomography (CT) data, is received from an image scanning system. A PET image is generated based on the PET measurement data, and an anatomy image is generated based on the anatomy measurement data. A trained neural network is applied to the PET image and the anatomy image to generate an attenuation map. The neural network may be trained based on anatomy and PET images. In some examples, the trained neural network generates an initial attenuation map based on the anatomy image, registers the initial attenuation map to the PET image, and generates an enhanced attenuation map based on the registration. Further, a corrected image is reconstructed based on the generated attenuation map and the PET image.

A media sequence includes media items arranged in a sequence. A graph is generated to represent animations available for the media items in the media sequence. The graph includes nodes that represent the available animations. The animations to be used in generating the media sequence is selected via selection of a path through the graph, and the media sequence is generated using the selected animations.

Techniques for compensating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data for artefacts caused by motion of a subject being imaged. The techniques include obtaining spatial frequency data obtained by using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system to perform MRI on a patient, the spatial frequency data including first spatial frequency data and second spatial frequency data; determining a transformation using a first image obtained using the first spatial frequency data and a second image obtained using the second spatial frequency data; determining a residual spatial phase; correcting, using the transformation, second spatial frequency data and the residual spatial phase, to obtain corrected second spatial frequency data and a corrected residual spatial phase; and generating a magnetic resonance (MR) image using the corrected second spatial frequency data and the corrected residual spatial phase.

A computer implemented networking system and method for content-creating, sharing, and archiving, includes maintaining profiles for a plurality of users each having an account that stores and displays user-authored content posts that are quality controlled, and generating, for each user profile, a virtual structure (e.g. building or house) displayed via a UI, and including a main room and a plurality of sub-rooms each being associated with a respective category, and wherein the main room provides navigation to the sub-rooms. The approach includes generating the user-authored content posts for each of the users via posting templates that prompt a user to input and organize various content based upon the template guidance for the respective category to control the quality of the user-authored content posts. A prompting tool operates within the virtual building for each profile by displaying prompts within each of the sub-rooms and related to the respective category and includes a prioritized list of user tasks.

An example method includes obtaining, a virtual model of a portion of an anatomy of a patient obtained from a virtual surgical plan for an orthopedic joint repair surgical procedure to attach a prosthetic to the anatomy; identifying, based on data obtained by one or more sensors, positions of one or more physical markers positioned relative to the anatomy of the patient; and registering, based on the identified positions, the virtual model of the portion of the anatomy with a corresponding observed portion of the anatomy.

An example method includes obtaining, a virtual model of a portion of an anatomy of a patient obtained from a virtual surgical plan for an orthopedic joint repair surgical procedure to attach a prosthetic to the anatomy; identifying, based on data obtained by one or more sensors, positions of one or more physical markers positioned relative to the anatomy of the patient; and registering, based on the identified positions, the virtual model of the portion of the anatomy with a corresponding observed portion of the anatomy.

A method includes tagging, by at least one processor, one or more three-dimensional assets with a unique identifier and storing the one or more three-dimensional assets in a database, creating, by the at least one processor, a three-dimensional model based on the one or more three-dimensional assets and loading the three-dimensional model in a simulator, generating, by the at least one processor, a two-dimensional image that is a representation of the three-dimensional model in the simulator, the two-dimensional image comprising metadata that includes each unique identifier for each three-dimensional asset of the three-dimensional model displayed in the two-dimensional image, and assigning, by the at least one processor, the two-dimensional image with a unique identifier and storing each unique identifier for each three-dimensional asset of the three-dimensional model displayed in the two-dimensional image in metadata for the two-dimensional image.
