Laser finishing design tool with image preview
A tool allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Based on a laser input file with a pattern, a laser will burn the pattern onto apparel. With the tool, the user will be able to create, make changes, and view images of a design, in real time, before burning by a laser. Input to the tool includes fabric template images, laser input files, and damage input. The tool allows adding of tinting and adjusting of intensity and bright point. The user can also move, rotate, scale, and warp the image input.
Augmented reality virus transmission risk detector
There is a need to accurately and dynamically evaluate an individual's risk associated with the transmission or contraction of a disease. This need can be addressed, for example, by generation of a real-time or near real-time predicted disease score for an associated user. In one example, a method includes receiving a video stream data object depicting a visual representation of a target user; processing the video stream data object to generate a protective covering indication with respect to the target user; processing the video stream data object to generate a spatial proximity determination score with respect to the target user; processing the protective covering indication and spatial proximity determination score to generate a predicted disease score associated with the target user; and providing an augmented reality video stream data object configured to depict the visual representation of the target user and the predicted disease score.

System for the detection and display of metal obscured regions in cone beam CT
A method for rendering metal obscured regions in a volume radiographic image reconstructs a first 3D image using a plurality of 2D projection images obtained over a scan angle range relative to the subject and identifies metal in the first 3D image or metal shadows in the plurality of 2D projection images. Then, metal obscured regions are determined in a reconstructed 3D image of the object, and an alternative reconstruction being a limited angle reconstruction is performed for the metal obscured regions and displayed to the user with an indication of the spatial relationship to a corresponding metal obscured region.
System and method for noise-based training of a prediction model
In some embodiments, noise data may be used to train a neural network (or other prediction model). In some embodiments, input noise data may be obtained and provided to a prediction model to obtain an output related to the input noise data (e.g., the output being a prediction related to the input noise data). One or more target output indications may be provided as reference feedback to the prediction model to update one or more portions of the prediction model, wherein the one or more portions of the prediction model are updated based on the related output and the target indications. Subsequent to the portions of the prediction model being updated, a data item may be provided to the prediction model to obtain a prediction related to the data item (e.g., a different version of the data item, a location of an aspect in the data item, etc.).
System and method for orientating capture of ultrasound images
A downloadable navigator for a mobile ultrasound unit having an ultrasound probe, implemented on a portable computing device. The navigator includes a trained orientation neural network to receive a non-canonical image of a body part from the mobile ultrasound unit and to generate a transformation associated with the non-canonical image, the transformation transforming from a position and rotation associated with a canonical image to a position and rotation associated with the non-canonical image; and a result converter to convert the transformation into orientation instructions for a user of the probe and to provide and display the orientation instructions to the user to change the position and rotation of the probe.
System and Method for Displaying Geographic Imagery
In one aspect, a computer-implemented method is disclosed for providing geographic imagery. The method may include receiving, at a computing device, a request for a geographic image, wherein the geographic image depicts at least a portion of a selected location within a geographic area. In addition, the method may include presenting, with the computing device, the geographic image and superimposing a map including normalized travel way data associated with the geographic area over at least a portion of the geographic image.
GENERATION OF A COLOR OF AN OBJECT DISPLAYED ON A GUI
A computer-implemented method for generating a color of an object displayed on a GUI. The method includes displaying on a graphical user interface a set of icons, each icon of the set being associated with a color, detecting a first user interaction on a first icon of the set, detecting a second user interaction that comprises at least a slide, modifying a value of a parameter of a first color associated with the first icon, the modification of the value being performed with the second user interaction, and computing a first new color that is the first color with the modified value of a parameter.
METHOD OF HIDING AN OBJECT IN AN IMAGE OR VIDEO AND ASSOCIATED AUGMENTED REALITY PROCESS
A method for generating a final image from an initial image including an object suitable to be worn by an individual. The presence of the object in the initial image is detected. A first layer is superposed on the initial image. The first layer includes a mask at least partially covering the object in the initial image. The appearance of at least one part of the mask is modified. The suppression of all or part of an object in an image or a video is enabled. Also, a process of augmented reality intended to be used by an individual wearing a vision device on the face, and a try-on device for a virtual object.
ENDOSCOPE DEVICE
An endoscope device includes: an normal light image acquisition unit that acquires an normal light image; a special light image acquisition unit that acquires a special light image; a blended image generation unit that generates a blend image by combining one color component image from among a plurality of color component images constituting the normal light image and the special light image; and a superimposed image generation unit that generates a color superimposed image by combining the blended image with another color component image. The blended image generation unit generates the blended image by replacing a part of the pixels of the one color component image with the corresponding pixels of the special light image such that they are blended in a substantially uniform distribution over the entire blended image.
