A system for controlling an access authorization and/or driving authorization for a vehicle includes at least one mobile communication device and a control unit in the vehicle that receives and checks authorization data sent from the mobile communication device. The mobile communication device has a data carrier for storing the authorization data. The data carrier has at least one protected storage region for the storage of the authorization data. A database server transfers encrypted authorization data to the data carrier for storage in the protected storage region.

TICKET VENDING MACHINE PAYMENTS SYSTEMS AND METHODS

An electronic-ticketing approach in which a user of a mobile device receives a voucher code at a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) in a transit station, enters the voucher code into the user's mobile device, and sends it to a control unit to receive an electronic ticket from the control unit delivered to the user's mobile device. The voucher code is a randomly-generated, alpha-numeric code that can be displayed on TVM displays and also can be easily be printed on TVM receipts. When the control unit receives the voucher code, it links the electronic ticket to the user before delivering the ticket to the user's mobile device so as to keep a track of the user's usage of the ticket. A software module provides a user app portion for the user's mobile device and a server app portion for the control unit, both of which operate in conjunction with each other.

The storage locker system supports automated modes of discovering and finding where a guest's rented locker is located within the facility and its sites at any moment in time, simply by using the guest' smart phone to scan a device-level code, a site-level code, a facility-level code or a discovery-level code, posted anywhere within the facility or any site, without need for using a physical locker lookup kiosk or other conventional systems and methods.

The toll transponder may determine, based on the response, an authorization request cryptogram for payment of the transaction amount, and generate an encrypted signal identifying the authorization request cryptogram, the transaction card data, and a toll transponder identifier identifying the toll transponder. The toll transponder may provide the encrypted signal to the toll server device via the toll antenna, and may receive from the toll server device, via the toll antenna, data indicating whether the transaction amount for the vehicle toll is approved.

The method includes a preparatory phase and a transmission phase, which comprise the following steps: the application installed on the first personal electronic device sends data to a remote server including the second email address of the secondary user and instructions for the transfer of information regarding the vehicle; the remote server sends data to an information cloud including the mobile identifier assigned to the application installed on the second device and information regarding the vehicle, and the cloud sends information regarding the vehicle to the application installed on the second personal electronic device.
