Systems and Methods for Facilitating Event Access Through Payment Accounts
Exemplary systems and methods for linking access credentials with payment accounts and facilitating access to events based on associations between the payment accounts and the events are disclosed. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a computing device, an authorization request for purchasing access to an event where the authorization request includes event content, ticket content, and payment content, and where the authorization request is associated with a merchant. The method also includes determining, at the computing device, whether the merchant and/or the event are registered, and when the merchant and the event are registered, storing, in memory of the computing device, a link between a payment account identified in the payment content and the event, whereby the link is able to be retrieved, by the merchant, via a subsequent authorization request, to indicate access to the event.
BIOMETRIC TICKETING
In biometric ticketing, physical token-less ticketing system using biometrics, a person may be identified using a digital representation of a biometric. Ticketing information may be ascertained based on the identification. The ticketing information may be provided, actions may be performed using the ticketing information, and so on. In some implementations, a checkpoint device receives biometric data from a person. A digital representation of the biometric data is used to obtain an identifier from an identification system. The digital representation of the biometric data may not be included in the identifier. The identifier is used by to obtain ticketing information from a ticketing system. The person may be allowed or denied entry into a ticketed area based on the ticketing information.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACCESS TO A SECURED BUILDING
The present invention provides for methods and systems for accessing a secured building. The method includes retrieving information from a code associated with a carrier and an address. The code may be a barcode with encoded information. The method further includes confirming that the address is associated with the secured building and further validating the carrier as an authorized carrier by an identification of the carrier. The method further includes validating a status associated with the information to be one of: in transit; and out for delivery. Upon positive response of the status, the method further includes allowing access to the secured building. In some embodiments, prior to allowing access to the secured building, the method further includes checking that an update to the status is within 24 hours.
VISITOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND VISITOR MANAGEMENT METHOD
A visitor management system, which can accurately determine if a visitor presents a proper ticket for the visitor's personal attribute, includes: a reader configured to read ticket information in a ticket medium; a camera configured to capture an image of the visitor; a control device configured to acquire a personal attribute of the visitor from the captured image, determine if consistency is achieved between the ticket information from the reader and the acquired personal attribute, and generate a management screen including determination result information; and a display configured to display the management screen. The determination result information generated by the control device may include a number of persons for each ticket type and a number of persons for each personal attribute, and inconsistency information indicating that consistency is not achieved.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PASSENGER AUTHENTICATION
A kiosk at a departure location may collect information from a passenger. The information collected may include a passport, a boarding pass, a departure photo, and a departure voice recording. The information may be stored in an encrypted database. A kiosk at an arrival location may also collect information from the passenger. The information collected may include a passport, a boarding pass, an arrival photo, and an arrival voice recording. The kiosk may retrieve the departure photo and the departure voice recording from the encrypted database based on the passport and the boarding pass. The kiosk may then compare the arrival photo and departure photos, and similarly the arrival voice recording and departure voice recording, to authenticate an identity of the passenger.
Mobile application data identification method and apparatus
Applicant's Smartphone application provides ticket-holding patrons an alternative, digital means of verifying personal identification at entry to a venue or event. The Smartphone application periodically generates a unique QR code (barcode) that contains a unique identifier (i.e., mobile device ID) which prompts the venue/event entry system to recognize the patron. No barcode (serving as a ticket, or authentication/verification, or otherwise) is downloaded from the system server to the Smartphone/mobile device client in contrast to prior art systems.

Rental/Car-Share Vehicle Access and Management System and Method
An apparatus and operational method are disclosed that use control hardware resident in a vehicle to enable a remote computing system to wirelessly communicate with the vehicle. The control hardware includes a processor configured to interface with a wireless network and the vehicle through, respectively, a wireless network interface and a vehicle interface. A plurality of CAN (control area network) bus transceivers may exist within the vehicle interface operable to allow the processor to interface with multiple vehicle types. The processor may then be configured to automatically detect an identifier for the vehicle though the vehicle interface and automatically select a CAN bus transceiver from the plurality of CAN bus transceivers based on the detected identifier. The processor can then communicate with the vehicle's CAN bus via the selected CAN bus transceiver.
