Money handling apparatus and money handling method
A money handling apparatus (for example, a banknote handling apparatus) includes a destination selector configured to select a storage unit where at least one of a counterfeit money and suspect money among the money transported by the transporting unit is to be transported, from the plurality of storage units (for example, each banknote storage unit, each storage/feeding unit, collecting unit, banknote ejecting unit, and the like) and a controller configured to control the transporting unit to transport at least one of the counterfeit money and suspect money to the storage unit selected by the destination selector among the plurality of storage units.
Paper sheet accumulation drum, paper sheet accumulation device, and paper sheet processing device
In a drum-type paper sheet accumulation device that sequentially supplies paper sheets to an outer circumferential surface of a payout drum, accumulates the paper sheets by winding the paper sheets in a stacked state, and returns the paper sheets all at once, a technique is provided which can keep a linear velocity of a paper sheet located at an outermost circumference of the payout drum constant and can maintain an arranged state of the paper sheets without any particular speed control. A paper sheet accumulation drum 105 that stacks and accumulates paper sheets supplied one by one on an outer circumferential surface thereof while rotating, includes a plurality of retractable members 280 that are arranged on a paper sheet accumulation portion of the outer circumferential surface in a predetermined circumferential arrangement, are configured to be retractable between a most protruding position protruding radially outward and a retreat position retreating from the most protruding position radially inward, are each elastically biased in a protruding direction, and each come into contact with a paper sheet surface on an outer surface. The paper sheets are accumulated to spread over the retractable members.
Systems, methods and devices for processing coins with linear array of coin imaging sensors
Currency processing systems, coin processing machines, and methods of imaging coins are presented herein. A currency processing system is disclosed which includes a housing with a coin input area for receiving coins and coin receptacles for stowing processed coins. A disk-type coin processing unit is coupled to the coin input area and coin receptacles. The disk-type coin processing unit includes a rotatable disk for imparting motion to the coins, and a sorting head having a lower surface adjacent the rotatable disk. The lower surface forms various shaped regions for guiding the coins, under the motion imparted by the rotatable disk, to exit channels through which the coins are discharged to the coin receptacles. A linear array of sensors is mounted to the sorting head and/or the rotatable disk. The sensors examine each coin on the rotatable disk and output a signal indicative of coin image information for processing the coin.
A COIN APPARATUS
A coin handling apparatus (1) comprising: a coin reservoir (2) including a coin output aperture (3); a coin output conduit (4) in communication with, and adjacent to, said coin output aperture (3); a coin separating mechanism (5) disposed between the coin output aperture (3) and the coin output conduit (4), said coin separating mechanism (5) comprising at least one gate member (9, 9A, 9B) including a pair of opposing resiliently biased support posts (10, 10A, 10B); wherein the at least one of the pair of opposing resiliently biased support posts (10, 10A, 10B) is configured to reciprocate within the magnetic field of a proximal inductor (11).
COIN HOPPER, ROTATING BODY OF COIN HOPPER, AND COIN PROCESSING DEVICE
A coin hopper includes a container, a base, a rotating body having separation holes for holding the coin and being disposed so as to face the base, and a control pin that is disposed in a conveyance path for the coin held by the rotating body, that comes into contact with the coin being conveyed, and that changes a moving direction of the coin. The rotating body includes a first resin rotating body, a metal rotating body, and a second resin rotating body. The metal rotating body is sandwiched between the first resin rotating body and the second resin rotating body. The first resin rotating body, the metal rotating body, and the second resin rotating body are fixed to one another.
Sorting device for sorting out coins
A sorting device for sorting out coins from bulk material, includes at least one sorting gap (5) for coins that is limited by at least one roller (2) which can be rotated by a drive (33) about an axis of rotation (A) such that objects that cannot be conveyed through the sorting gap (5) are applied with force by the roller (2) in a direction away from the sorting gap (5) wherein a discharge hood (6) is provided for an eddy current separator device (29), which has an adjustable trajectory separator unit (4) in a hood interior (7), wherein the at least one roller (2) is arranged in or on the discharge hood (6) in relation to the trajectory separator unit (4) such that a non-ferrous metal fraction separated from the bulk material by the trajectory separator unit (4) is guided in the direction of the sorting gap (5) by the weight force of the non-ferrous metal objects (12).
