WRAPPED-COIN DISPENSING APPARATUS
Provided is a wrapped-coin dispensing apparatus 300 in which a storage unit 310 includes a pair of side walls forming a storage area for wrapped coin rolls therebetween, and at least one of the pair of side walls is configured as an openable and closable door 314 through which the wrapped coin rolls are taken in and out from the storage unit 310. The height of a storage area differs between a side, in the storage unit 310, where a dispensing mechanism 319 is provided, and a side opposite to the side where the dispensing mechanism 319 is provided.
Systems and methods for facilitating coin hopper maintenance
Implementations described and claimed herein involve systems and methods for facilitating coin hopper maintenance. In one implementation, a top plate is received in a bucket assembly of the coin hopper at a proximal end. The top plate seals one or more coins in an interior of the bucket assembly. The coin hopper is positioned in an inverted orientation by meeting a target surface with the top plate. The inverted orientation positions the bucket assembly at a distal end near the target surface and a base assembly at the proximal end. A hopper dispenser is disengaged from the base assembly of the coin hopper.
Use of spacers to accommodate less than a capacity number of coins in a roll of coins in a case
A standard sized coin roll holder is loaded with a stack of alternating coins and spacers such that a variable number of coins can be accommodated in a standard sized holder. The number of coins loaded into the holder can be configured to be one more than the number of spacers, starting with a coin, then a spacer and so on, such that a coin occupies both the first position and the last position in the stack and making a coin face visible at each end. A twenty coin holder can be loaded, for example, with 10 coins and 9 spacers or with 5 coins and 4 spacers. A compressible silicone rubber washer can also be included to account for slight variations in coin thickness, thus securing the stack within the available height inside a closed and sealed case.
Sheet handling apparatus
A sheet handling apparatus includes: a transport path along which a sheet is transported; a first transport member disposed on one side of the transport path; and a second transport member disposed opposed to the first transport member with the transport path interposed therebetween. The first transport member and the second transport member are driven to rotate. The sheet is transported by the first transport member rotating with an outer peripheral surface thereof being in contact with a first face of the sheet, and by the second transport member rotating in a direction opposite to a rotation direction of the first transport member, with an outer peripheral surface thereof being in contact with a second face of the sheet different from the first face.
COIN DEPOSITING DEVICE
A coin depositing device comprises a coin depositing port including a funnel-shaped inclined surface and a hole, arranged at the lowermost part of the inclined surface, through which a coin slid down along the inclined surface is deposited, and a money placing section including a money placing surface connecting with an upper end of a part of the inclined surface and a guide wall arranged at an edge part of the money placing surface, wherein the inclined surface includes a first inclined surface connecting with the money placing surface and a second inclined surface facing the first inclined surface across the hole, and a lower end of the first inclined surface is located at the bottom side of the hole below a lower end of the second inclined surface.

Compact automatic coin counter
A compact automatic coin counter (1) is disclosed, comprising a coin bowl (3), a coin wheel (4), a coin track (8), a coin rail (14) and a coin sensor (9), wherein the coin wheel is inclined with its lowermost part within the coin bowl and is provided with one or more recesses (5) for collection of coins from the coin bowl, and wherein the coin wheel is further provided with a circular coin path (15) passing across the recesses and consisting of one or more grooves (6) deeper recessed in the axial direction than these recesses, and the coin rail is provided with one or more coin lifters (7), which extend into these grooves in such a way that the coin lifters lift the coins from the recesses in the coin wheel onto the coin track, where they individually roll past the coin sensor, which type each coin, after which the total value of the counted coins is calculated.
Coin diverter
There is provided a coin diverter that allows increase in the number of coin diversion directions and reduction in the size of a coin handling apparatus. The coin diverter includes a diverter member that diverts a coin from a transport path and a driver that changes the state of the diverter member to any of a first state in which the diverter member leads the coin toward the downstream side of the transport path, a second state in which the diverter member leads the coin in a first direction in which the coin drops from the transport path, and a third state in which the diverter member leads the coin in a second direction different from the direction toward the downstream side of the transport path and the first direction.
AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION DEVICE
An automatic transaction device includes: a customer service port that accumulates and holds bills so as to be accessible from a customer side; a shutter that closes a deposit/withdrawal port of the customer service port; a sensor that detects an abnormality of the shutter; a bill holding unit that holds accumulated bills, and changes a state in the customer service port from a state in which the bills can be accessed from the customer side to an inaccessible state; and a control unit that controls a change of state of the bill holding unit and an opening and closing operation of the shutter, wherein, in a case in which an abnormality of the shutter is detected, the control unit changes the state of the bill holding unit to the inaccessible state from the customer side.
Coin Storage and Display System
A coin holder apparatus preferably comprising a ring, at least one arm extending outward from the ring, and at least one retention monocle at a distal end of the at least one arm. The center ring preferably further comprises a plurality of buttons on a top surface and a plurality of recesses on a bottom surface. The retention monocle further comprises a lip extending inwardly from a bottom surface of an inner periphery, and a plurality of nubs spaced around said inner periphery to capture and hold a coin, or coin-like object in place.
