SALES DATA PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD
According to one embodiment, a sales data processing device includes a display configured to rotate to face a first direction, from which a clerk operates the sale data processing device in a first mode, and a second direction different from the first direction, from which a customer operates the sales data processing device in a second mode. A detection unit is configured to detect whether the display faces the first direction or the second direction and indicate the first or second mode according to the detected first or second direction. A processor is configured to enable a first group of components to be operated in the first mode and to enable a second group of components to be operated in the second mode according to the indicated first or second mode of the detection unit.
COIN HANDLING APPARATUS
Provided is a coin handling apparatus including: a drawer attachment unit to which a drawer is attached; a first cassette attachment unit to which a coin transport cassette including an opening to be opened when the coin transport cassette is attached to a specific apparatus and giving or receiving a coin to or from the specific apparatus via the opening is attached; a storage unit storing the coin and feeding out the stored coin; and a first transport unit transporting the coin fed out of the storage unit to the drawer attached to the drawer attachment unit or the coin transport cassette attached to the first cassette attachment unit. The first cassette attachment unit is provided at a position different from a position of the drawer attachment unit. The coin transport cassette is attachable to the first cassette attachment unit when the drawer is attached to the drawer attachment unit.
COIN HANDLING APPARATUS
Provided is a coin handling apparatus including: a storage unit; a drawer attachment unit to which a drawer is attached; a cassette attachment unit to which a coin transport cassette including an opening to be opened when the coin transport cassette is attached to a specific apparatus and giving or receiving a coin to or from the specific apparatus via the opening is attached; a first route forming portion forming a first route that guides the coin fed out of the storage unit to the drawer attached to the drawer attachment unit; a second route forming portion forming a second route that guides the coin fed out of the storage unit to the coin transport cassette attached to the cassette attachment unit; and a switching unit that switches a guide destination of the coin fed out of the storage unit to the first route or the second route.
Coin feeding apparatus and money handling apparatus
A coin feeding apparatus comprising: a disk that includes a plurality of protrusions on a surface of the disk, is disposed to be inclined and rotatable, and, when rotating, causes a first coin or a second coin to be caught on and carried upward by the plurality of protrusions, the second coin having a diameter greater than that of the first coin; a cover that forms, between the cover and a surface of the disk, a space for storing a coin therein; and a separation unit that separates one coin out of two of the first coins from the plurality of protrusions so as to cause the one coin to fall into the space, the two first coins being caught on the plurality of protrusions side by side.
SALES PROCESSING APPARATUS WITH EARLY FAILURE DETECTION AND METHOD FOR EARLY FAILURE DETECTION IN A SALES PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sales processing apparatus includes a processor and an input and output unit configured to perform an operation for a sales transaction processing. The processor is configured to acquire the time required for the input and output unit to perform the operation for the sales transaction processing of a sales transaction, then determine whether the time required for the input and output unit to perform the operation during the sales transaction exceeds a reference time for the input and output unit to perform the operation. A notification is output if the time required for the input and output unit to perform the operation during the sales transaction exceeds the reference time.
ACCOUNTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN ACCOUNTING APPARATUS
According to an embodiment, an accounting apparatus includes a change machine, a detection device, and a controller. The controller determines whether or not the change machine is capable of paying change in cash on the basis of a result of a detection by the detection device. The controller accepts, when determining that the change machine fails to pay the change in cash, a payment method selected by a customer from a plurality of change payment methods other than paying in cash.
COIN DISPENSER
A coin dispenser is disclosed to use a dialing rod of a dialing device of a coin dispensing unit to push one side of the peripheral edge of one metal coin so that the other side of the peripheral edge of the metal coin will push two coin-stopping columns of one spring plate of the coin dispensing unit, causing the two coin-stopping columns to slide along the peripheral edge of the metal coin, and thus, when the metal coin crosses two coin-stopping columns, the metal coin is sent out of the coin outlet, achieving the effect of dispensing one metal coin at one time.
MONEY HANDLING SYSTEM, MONEY HANDLING MACHINE, AND MONEY HANDLING METHOD
In a money handling system (10), a storage cassette (40) is detachably mounted to each of a money change machine (20) and a money depositing/dispensing machine (30) (money handling machine). A determination unit (51) is provided for determining whether or not money has been sent into the money depositing/dispensing machine (30) from all the storage cassettes (40) to which money has been sent from the money change machine (20) when a plurality of the storage cassettes (40) are used in a collection process.
CASH HANDLING SYSTEM AND CASH HANDLING METHOD
In order to improve efficiency of an operation of a cash handling system and reduce the labor required for the operation, a POS register receives an input of a cash-out amount, and an input of a charge amount. The POS register reads a debit card ID from a debit card, and transmits a settlement request including the debit card ID and a settlement amount to a management server. Upon receiving the settlement request, the management server withdraws the settlement amount from an account, and transmits a settlement permission to the POS register. Upon receiving the settlement permission from the management server, the POS register performs charge of electronic money, and transmits a dispensing instruction for the cash-out amount to a change machine. The change machine receives the dispensing instruction and dispenses cash.
MONEY DEPOSITING/DISPENSING APPARATUS, MONEY HANDLING SYSTEM, AND MONEY HANDLING METHOD
A money depositing/dispensing apparatus including a first storage configured to store therein money for each denomination; a second storage configured to store therein money in a denomination mixed state; a third storage configured to store therein money such that the money cannot be fed out therefrom; a transport configured to move money between the storages; and circuitry configured to perform control such that predetermined money is moved from the second storage to the third storage in a case that the first storage needs to be replenished with money, and determine a denomination and a quantity of money for replenishment, based on a storage quantity of money in the second storage after the movement and on a storage quantity of money in the first storage.
