A banknote processing device comprises a banknote transport path defined at least in part by a transport plate on one side of the banknote transport path, the banknote transport plate being pivotally mounted about a first axis near an upstream end of the transport plate, the transport plate including a working position and an open position, a display assembly being pivotally mounted about a second axis spaced a defined distance apart from the first axis, the display assembly including an operational position and a non-operational position, and a linkage coupled to display assembly and to the transport plate near a downstream end of the transport plate, wherein, when the display assembly is rotated from the operational position to the non-operational position, the linkage causes the transport plate to move from the working position to the open position.
MEDIUM PROCESSING DEVICE
A medium processing device includes a main body unit that counts a medium and that is configured to be connectable to at least one medium processing unit that accommodates the medium. The main body unit includes: a plurality of power supply lines including first and second power supply lines, the first and second power supply lines being independent of each other and supplying electric power toward the at least one medium processing unit, and an output part that outputs a control signal toward the at least one medium processing unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SANITIZING CURRENCY
A system and method for sanitizing currency is provided. The system generally comprises a container, control board, switch, power supply, heating elements, temperature probe, and charging ports. Currency is inserted into the system via an entrance, and the control board provides power to the heating elements from the power supply to increase the temperature within the internal cavity of the container. The temperature probe assists the control board and heating element to maintain a desired temperature for a desired length of time in order to kill pathogens that may be living on the currency. A switch on the container may be used to complete a circuit of control board and initiate a cleaning cycle when the entrance is closed by a user.

The disclosed devices, systems, and methods are directed to, or include, various robot arms, which may be articulated, that are configured to open a bill storage container, remove a bundle of bills, load the bundle on a bill conveying device, and load the bundle of bills in a bill storage case. The systems include one or more control devices to control the operations of the components that move the bill bundle.
Banknote counting and conveying system for casinos
A banknote counting and conveying system that is designed to be assembled on a casino table and communicate with a safe that is positioned under that table. The system includes a tray on which the banknotes are placed after being counted. The tray has a leading slot that forms an upper opening of a vertical sleeve that is designed to be inserted into a banknote receiving slot in that table. The system includes a vertical push rod that is designed to push into the vertical sleeve through the leading slot the banknotes that are on the tray. The system also includes a pair of pulleys on the inner sides of the vertical sleeve that are designed to convey the banknotes from the leading slot downward into a banknote safe slot in the safe subsystem.
ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE DRIVEN AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE
A system and a method for providing mobile services uses an autonomous automated teller machine vehicle including a controller operating a drive unit to move the autonomous vehicle and execute a machine learning algorithm configured to guide the movement along a selected travel path according to travel path information. Sensors on the autonomous vehicle detect fixed objects, new objects and persons along the travel path. The machine learning algorithm performs steps for guiding the movement along the travel path including: determining whether each of the detected fixed objects is included in the travel path information for use in guiding the vehicle; determining whether each of the detected new objects is to be included in the travel path information; and determining whether each of the detected persons interferes with the travel path and requires the vehicle to stop moving until the interfering person moves away from the travel path.

Disclosed herein are financial article handling devices comprising an external aperture connected to a rotary table. The rotary table can contain two or more financial article handling units disposed on the rotary table, each of which can be configured to form an interface with the external aperture. The financial article handling devices can receive an indication from a first financial article handling unit that the first financial article handling unit is no longer functional, disconnect the first financial article handling unit from the external aperture, and articulate the rotary table such that a second financial article handling unit is in communication with the external aperture.

An automated teller machine includes: a main body; a reception unit; an identification unit; a recycle cassette; a reject cassette; a deposit cassette; a utility cassette; a conveyance path through which a medium is conveyed; and a control unit. The control unit controls the conveyance path such that when the medium is recovered through the recovery transit cassette, the medium recognized as the normal banknote by the identification unit, among mediums stored in the deposit cassette and the recycle cassette, is recovered to the recovery transit cassette, and when the medium is replenished through the replenishment transit cassette, the medium recognized as the rejection banknote by the identification unit, among replenishment mediums stored in the replenishment transit cassette, is replenished to the utility cassette.
