BANKNOTE SORTER AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
Provided is a banknote sorter. A light source unit obliquely illuminates light at a designated angle onto a surface of a banknote when the banknote is being transferred through the banknote sorter by a driving means. A light sensor unit is placed to sense the light that is irradiated at the designated angle onto the surface of the banknote and/or tape, reflected from the surface of the banknote and/or the tape, and is incident onto the light sensor unit at an angle different from the designated angle. A control unit controls the light source unit, processes sensing information from the light sensor unit, and discriminates any tape on the banknote.
Banknote handling system for automated casino accounting
A banknote handling system includes an unlocking system. The unlocking system includes a camera, a first mechanical arm to which one or a plurality of keys are affixed, and a controller that determines a position of a keyhole based on an image from the camera, and controls the first arm to insert one of the one or the plurality of keys into the keyhole and turn the inserted key for unlocking. In many examples, the unlocking system is configured to unlock a banknote cashbox.
Sheet processing apparatus and sheet processing method
A sheet processing apparatus has: a processing unit having, at a front side of a housing, openings through which at least one of feeding a sheet in the housing or feeding the sheet out from the housing is performed; a storage chamber configured to store the sheet fed in the housing, and a door disposed at an opening part of the storage chamber is capable of being locked; a control unit configured to control transport of the sheet between a container, the openings and the storage chamber, the container configured to be capable of being detachably mounted to the processing unit or the storage chamber and configured to be stored the sheet fed in the sheet processing apparatus; and an attachment unit provided at the back side of the processing unit or on the back side of an outer surface of the storage chamber, the attachment unit to which the container is capable of being mounted.
Sheet handling device
A sheet handling device includes: a first storage; a second storage using a storage method different form that of the first storage; a transporter that transports a sheet; and a controller that controls the transporter to transport the sheet. When the second storage is neither a transport source of the sheet nor a transport destination of the sheet, the controller controls the transporter to transport the sheet at a first speed. When the second storage is at least the transport source of the sheet or the transport destination of the sheet, the controller controls the transporter to transport the sheet at a second speed lower than the first speed.
Medium processing device and automated teller machine
While a bill controller is moving a bill press and a pool guide from accumulation positions to delivery positions, a time period from a time point to a time point for moving both the bill press and the pool guide and a time period from the time point to a time point for moving only the pool guide are given.
DEVICE FOR HANDLING VALUE DOCUMENTS
A device for handling value documents can include a dispensing compartment for the withdrawal of value documents. The dispensing compartment is delimited by a depositing element, a delimiting element, and a closure element. The delimiting element is arranged in a first delimiting position to supply the value documents into the dispensing compartment. With a movement of the depositing element in the direction of the delimiting element, the delimiting element is moved from the first delimiting position into a second delimiting position. In order to open the dispensing compartment, the closure element is moved from the closed position into the open position, wherein an engaging element of the delimiting element engages the closure element when moving the closure element, or in the open position of the closure element, if the delimiting element is in the second delimiting position.
Money depositing apparatus and checkout system
A speedy and efficient checkout process at a checkout counter in a store is realized by a deposit machine that receives deposited money from a customer and issues a pre-deposit receipt with which a pre-deposit amount is associated, and a POS register that scans a barcode of a commodity to calculate a checkout amount and reads a pre-deposit receipt to specify a pre-deposit amount. The POS register performs a checkout process for the checkout amount by using the pre-deposit amount, calculates, as change, a difference between the pre-deposit amount and the checkout amount, and causes a change machine to dispense money corresponding to the change.
Currency handling system
An object of the present invention is to provide a currency handling system which makes it possible to decrease a risk of dealing with foreign currency at the time of the occurrence of a communication error in a case in which a currency reading device capable of accepting a variety of currencies including a foreign currency is used while the currency handling system is connected to a management server through a communication line. A currency handling system 100 is connected to a casino management system 2 through a network 3, and includes a currency reading device 201 which is capable of accepting a variety of currencies and a PTS terminal 700. The PTS terminal 700 causes a process which limits usage of a foreign currency but allows usage of a local currency in the currency reading device 201 to be performed in a case (offline state) in which an error occurs in communication with the casino management system 2.
Augmented reality-enabled ATM for secure augmented reality check realization
An Augmented Reality (AR)-enabled Automated Teller Machine (ATM) receives a request to dispense cash equal to amount of an AR document. The AR document comprises an AR check. The AR-enabled ATM fetches a first AR check image from a memory. The AR-enabled ATM extracts a first set of features from the first AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM receives a second AR check image from a computing device associated with the receiver. The AR-enabled ATM extracts a second set of features from the second AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM compares the first AR check image with the second AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM determines whether the first AR check image corresponds to the second AR check image. In response to determining that the first AR check image corresponds to the second AR check image, the AR-enabled ATM dispenses cash equal to the amount.
DIGITAL ASSET SALE USING A BI-DIRECTIONAL DIGITAL ASSET POINT OF SALE DEVICE
A method includes, initiating, by a user computing device, a sale of an amount of digital assets with a bi-directional digital asset point of sale (POS) computing device of a digital asset-based interaction system. The method further includes obtaining, by a digital asset-based interaction computing entity of the digital asset-based interaction system, real-time information regarding the sale of the amount of the digital assets and locking an amount of system digital assets to back the amount of the digital assets. The real-time information includes digital asset type of the digital assets, the amount of the digital assets, and a payment asset format. The method further includes obtaining, by the bi-directional digital asset POS computing device, a confirmation from the digital asset-based interaction computing entity that the amount of system digital assets have been locked and providing an amount of assets in the payment asset format to the user computing device.
