DOCUMENT-COLLECTING APPARATUS OF AUTOMATED TRANSACTION MACHINE AND METHOD
A document-collecting apparatus of an automated transaction can include a document-retaining spool, a document-retaining-spool shaft, a web-supply spool, a web-supply-spool shaft, a web, and a single motor. The document-retaining-spool shaft can extend through an orifice in a center of the document-retaining spool. The web-supply-spool shaft can extend through an orifice in a center of the web-supply spool. The web can have a first end wound around the document-retaining spool and a second end opposite to the first end and wound around the web-supply spool. The single motor can be operatively connected to and can selectively drive the document-retaining-spool shaft and the web-supply-spool shaft.
EDGE SENSING APPARATUS IN AUTOMATED TRANSACTION MACHINE
A sensing apparatus can be configured to detect an edge of a paper that is received by an automated transaction machine (ATM). The paper can move along a path located inside the ATM, the path having opposite first and second sides. The sensing apparatus can include a light emitter and a light detector on the first side of the path, with the light emitter positioned so that it can emit light across the path to the second side. The light detector can be configured to detect light from the light emitter and can emit a signal corresponding to an amount of detected light. The sensing apparatus can also include a control circuit that can control a flow of power to the light emitter, and the control circuit can also receive the signal emitted by the sensor.
Banknote Processing System
An object of the present invention is to provide a banknote processing system capable of easily specifying a banknote processing terminal which accommodates banknotes of a particular currency in a container. In a banknote processing system 1000, a slot machine G10 is configured to read to which currency type an accommodated banknote T belongs and to send a currency type signal to a management server 260 configured to store location information specifying an installation location of each of slot machines G10, to store the slot machine G10 which has sent the currency type signal, in association with a currency type indicated by the currency type signal, to specify the slot machine G10 associated with a predetermined currency type, and to present the installation location of the specified slot machine G10.
Modular automated transaction machine
A modular ATM is disclosed herein and can include a safe with a first port, at least one currency cassette and dispenser both positioned in the safe, a recycler, and a plurality of linking transport assemblies. The dispenser can move banknotes between the cassette and the first port. The recycler can be positioned on the safe, have second and third ports, and move banknotes between the second and third ports. The recycler can be positionable in a plurality of different orientations and offsets relative to the safe. The plurality of linking transport assemblies can each be individually engageable with the recycler. Each of the linking transport assembly moves banknotes between the first port of the safe and the second port of the recycler. Each linking transport assembly is individually positionable between the safe and the recycler.
AUGMENTED REALITY-ENABLED ATM FOR SECURE AUGMENTED REALITY CHECK REALIZATION
An Augmented Reality (AR)-enabled Automated Teller Machine (ATM) receives a request to dispense cash equal to amount of an AR document. The AR document comprises an AR check. The AR-enabled ATM fetches a first AR check image from a memory. The AR-enabled ATM extracts a first set of features from the first AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM receives a second AR check image from a computing device associated with the receiver. The AR-enabled ATM extracts a second set of features from the second AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM compares the first AR check image with the second AR check image. The AR-enabled ATM determines whether the first AR check image corresponds to the second AR check image. In response to determining that the first AR check image corresponds to the second AR check image, the AR-enabled ATM dispenses cash equal to the amount.
Modular automated transaction machine
A modular ATM is disclosed herein and can include a safe with a first port, at least one currency cassette and dispenser both positioned in the safe, a currency conveyor, and a plurality of linking transport assemblies. The dispenser can move banknotes between the cassette and the first port. The currency conveyor can be positioned on the safe, have second and third ports, and move banknotes between the second and third ports. The currency conveyor can be positionable in a plurality of different orientations and offsets relative to the safe. The plurality of linking transport assemblies can each be individually engageable with the currency conveyor. Each of the linking transport assembly moves banknotes between the first port of the safe and the second port of the currency conveyor. Each linking transport assembly is individually positionable between the safe and the currency conveyor.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
Provided is a sheet processing apparatus including: a transport member that transports a sheet; a detection sensor that detects a number of the sheets transported by the transport member; a predetermined first winding storage, another first winding storage, and a temporary storage each of which stores the sheet transported by the transport member; and a control circuitry. A maximum number of the sheets stored in the temporary storage is smaller than a maximum number of the sheets stored in the predetermined first winding storage. The control circuitry controls the transport member such that the sheets stored in the predetermined first winding storage are temporarily stored in each of the other first winding storage and the temporary storage. The control circuitry controls the detection sensor such that the number of the sheets is detected while the sheets are transported.

A medium processing device includes: a transaction unit including a transaction port and configured to perform at least one of a process of taking in a medium or a process of taking out the medium through the transaction port; a cassette mounting unit including a mounting port wherein a medium cassette is mounted to the mounting port; a cassette processing unit configured to perform at least one of a process of carrying in the medium from the medium cassette mounted to the cassette mounting unit or a process of carrying out the medium to the medium cassette; and a closing member configured to selectively close the transaction port or the mounting port.
Processing device for currency bills and a method of use thereof
A currency bill processing device for counting, denominating, discriminating, and/or sorting the currency bills and subsequently disinfecting the currency bills without any manual intervention. The currency bill processing device can process the currency bills at a speed of up to 1000 bills per minute. The currency bill processing device includes one or more elongated UV-C LED strips mounted on a rigid aluminum or copper base which can be mounted on an outer or exposed side of a support plate or reject receptacle plate or stacker guide bar plate located at the end of the currency bill conveying path. A disinfection unit of the currency bill processing device including the elongated UV-C LED strip that can activate and deactivate with turning-on and -off of the currency bill conveying mechanism respectively.

A sales processing apparatus includes a processor and an input and output unit configured to perform an operation for a sales transaction processing. The processor is configured to acquire the time required for the input and output unit to perform the operation for the sales transaction processing of a sales transaction, then determine whether the time required for the input and output unit to perform the operation during the sales transaction exceeds a reference time for the input and output unit to perform the operation. A notification is output if the time required for the input and output unit to perform the operation during the sales transaction exceeds the reference time.
