Systems and methods for enabling exchange of tradeable items are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive the first tradeable item from a user; determine whether the received first tradeable item is a valid tradeable item within the online gaming platform by identifying the first tradeable item based on the first item-identifying information and by verifying the first tradeable item is a valid tradeable item within the online gaming platform; responsive to determining the received first tradeable item is valid within the online gaming platform, select a second tradeable item from a repository of tradeable items; and dispense, from the repository, the second tradeable item to the user.

A method for accurate cost reporting of shelved items includes: storing a plurality of data sets corresponding to respective chutes in a facility, each data set containing (i) an item identifier, (ii) label data, and (iii) an identifier of a dynamic label disposed at a corresponding chute; receiving, from a sensor mounted at or near a first one of the chutes, a detected item identifier corresponding to a forward position in the chute that is adjacent to an edge of a shelf defining the chute; retrieving, from the repository, (i) the identifier of a first dynamic label corresponding to the first chute, and (ii) detected label data from one of the data sets containing the detected item identifier; and sending a command to the first dynamic label, the command containing the detected label data, for causing the first dynamic label to display the detected label data.

Systems and methods for enabling exchange of tradeable items are disclosed. Exemplary embodiments of wipes dispensers are disclosed herein. An exemplary wipes dispenser having a nozzle with a wear indicator includes a container, a plurality of wipes contained within the container, a fluid for wetting the plurality of wipes, a receiving member connected to the container, and an outlet nozzle housing for holding an elastomeric outlet nozzle. The elastomeric outlet nozzle includes a wear indictor that provides a visual indication that the nozzle should be replaced.

A vending apparatus includes (i) an interface configured to allow a user to select a consumable for use in an aerosol generating device; (ii) a first compartment for storing the selected consumable; (iii) dispenser apparatus configured to dispense the selected consumable from the first compartment to the user; (iv) a controller operably coupled to the user interface and the dispenser apparatus and configured to cause the dispenser to retrieve the selected consumable from the first compartment and to dispense the selected consumable to the user; and (iv) communication apparatus operably coupled to the controller and configured to receive data regarding the aerosol generating device.

One example method includes determining that a removable cover plate is in a first state, wherein the removable cover plate and a payment box form an enclosed space when the removable cover plate is in the first state, and the top of the payment box is open when the removable cover plate is in a second state; reading, using at least one radio frequency identification (RFID) antenna fastened to at least one inner wall of the payment box, at least one RFID tag, wherein each RFID tag is associated with a merchandise to be paid inside the payment box; and providing payment information based on the at least one RFID tag.

A modular vending machine system including: multiple cartridges configured to hold a good to be dispensed; a docking station configured to removably store at least one of the cartridges; a vending machine main body including a cartridge port configured to receive at least one of the cartridges, a dispensing-port for dispensing the good to a user, and a mechanism configured to perform at least one of removing the good from the cartridge, performing dispensing preparation processing of the good, or dispensing the good via the dispensing port; and control circuitry configured to control operation of the cartridges, the docking station, and the vending machine, wherein the cartridge is provided with a traveling mechanism configured to enable the cartridge to move to and from the docking station and the vending machine main body.

A vending machine with a reduced vertical height and footprint has a horizontal roller surface system for delivering vending products. The horizontal roller system includes actuated rollers and trays that move on top of the rollers. The products are present on top of the trays; the rollers actuate to deliver the trays, and the products, to a delivery portal. Some embodiments of the vending machine have a transparent top to allow the interior of the vending machine, and particularly the roller surface, to be visible from the exterior of the vending machine. The reduced height and size of the vending machine enables it to be placed in locations that are unavailable to conventional vending machines.
