There is provided a medicine dispensing system configured such that a medicine dispensing device includes a sub unit having a function to dispense medicine that is connected to a medicine dispensing device that includes a main unit having a function of packing medicines. There is also provided a medicine dispensing device that can be appropriately integrated with such a medicine dispensing system. The medicine dispensing system includes, in some embodiments a main unit, a sub unit and a transfer device connecting the main unit and the sub unit. The medicine dispensing system transfers the medicine dispensed in the sub unit to the main unit by means of a transfer device and dispenses the medicine at a medicine packing part together with the medicine dispensed from a main storage part in the main unit.

The present application provides a merchandiser. The merchandiser may include an ambient compartment with at least one ambient product therein, a temperature controlled compartment with at least one temperature controlled product therein, and a vending module in communication with the temperature controlled compartment such that the vending module dispenses a temperature controlled product in response to an ambient product being placed in the vending module.

A method and apparatus for playing a wagering game on a gaming apparatus enables different paytables and related volatility wagers on at least one of an underlying wagering game and a side bet wager against a paytable. The method allows a player placing a wager on the underlying wagering game; and the player placing a wager on the side bet. The method further allows providing a physical random event outcome in the underlying wagering game on which both the underlying game and the side bet are based. At least one of the wager on the underlying wagering game and the wager on the side bet is made on at least one of two available wagers having differing volatilities from each other.

A gaming machine achieves a new entertainment characteristic by adding a new characteristic to selection of a bonus type. A gaming machine comprises: a lower image display panel configured to display selectable images in a bonus game which is triggered in a normal game, wherein the selectable images are changed to any one of bonus rank images corresponding to bonus types every time selection is made; a control panel enabling selection of one of the selectable images; and a controller configured to control the display panel so that only the number of the bonus rank images corresponding to the bonus determined in advance in the bonus game reaches a predetermined number, wherein the controller displays a bonus rank image corresponding to a high rank bonus type out of bonus types, before the number of the bonus rank images corresponding to the bonus determined in advance reaches the predetermined number.
Systems and methods for utilizing RFID technology to facilitate a gaming system
In accordance with some embodiments, an RFID-enabled table game system provides for determining whether there is a variance between an expected balance of inventory and an actual balance of inventory in a game element container. If a variance is detected, the RFID-enabled game system may identify at least one characteristic associated with an RFID-enabled game element that is determined to be a source of the variance (e.g., a player position at which the RFID-enabled game element had last been detected, a denomination or value of the game element, and/or an identifier associated with the game element). In some embodiments, an alert may be output to game provider personnel (e.g., a dealer of a card game) at the end of a game play when such a variance is detected, thus allowing the variance to be corrected in an efficient and timely manner.
Mobile system for dispensing medication
The subject technology provides at least a system and method for accessing a medication based on near-field communication (NFC). An NFC connection is established between a medical device and NFC circuitry associated with a user separate from the medical device and, based on information obtained from the NFC connection, pairing information for a mobile device to connect to the medical device is determined. A short range wireless connection is automatically established between the medical device and the mobile device associated with the user based on the determined pairing information, and a request for access to a medication provided by the medical device is sent from the mobile device to the medical device via the short range wireless connection.

In the receiving position, the receiver receives the quantity of pharmaceuticals in the pharmaceutical receiving space from the pharmaceutical counter. In the dispensing position, the receiver dispenses the quantity of pharmaceuticals toward the pharmaceutical outlet.
