Systems, apparatuses and methods enhancing gaming outcome opportunities
11244540 · 2022-02-08 ·

Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for providing game features. In a game of chance involving at least one outcome, a plurality of alternative outcomes can be derived for a gaming event, such as when one of the outcomes will provide a payout at or above a certain level. The player is presented with an opportunity to select among the alternative outcomes, without being aware of the particular characteristics or values associated with the outcomes. While the player will only select the outcome having the payout at/above the threshold level a certain percentage of the time, the opportunity can be presented to the player more often, while keeping the mathematical probabilities the same or similar if desired, thereby providing the player with the feeling of getting higher value opportunities more often.

Patient-specific medication dispensing and notification system

A medication dispensing system is described. In some embodiments, the system includes a medication station and a controller responsive to patient admittance status information. The medication station includes at least one securable compartment configured to hold medication. The controller is configured to assign a patient to the at least one securable compartment such that medications for the patient are able to be placed into the at least one securable compartment. The controller is also configured to selectively permit access to the medications for the patient in the at least one securable compartment when the patient admittance status information indicates the patient is currently admitted, and restrict access to retrieval of the medications for the patient in the at least one securable compartment when the patient admittance status information indicates the patient is not currently admitted.

Apparatus and methods for automated dispensing of medications and supplements

A system for assembling and dispensing an order made up of one or more individually packaged items from a plurality of different individually packaged items includes a storage module containing one or more packages of each of the items, and a conveyor having selectively assignable spaces configured to receive the packaged items associated with a particular order and to transport the packaged items to a processing location. A pick device is movable relative to the storage module and is configured to retrieve a package from the storage module. A transfer station adjacent the conveyor receives one or more of the packaged items from the pick device and an actuator associated with the transfer station moves the packaged items from the transfer station to the conveyor when the assigned space associated with the order is in registration with the transfer station.

Liquid medication dispensing machine

Provided is a liquid medication dispensing machine that can remove a liquid medication from one end of a supply pipe with higher reliability. The liquid medication dispensing machine includes a plurality of supply nozzles located at equal intervals through which liquid medications flow from a plurality of liquid medication bottles containing the liquid medications, respectively, to a prescription bottle. The plurality of supply nozzles are moved sequentially to a supply position where a supply nozzle faces an upper opening of the prescription bottle. The liquid medication dispensing machine further includes a cleaning unit that removes the liquid medication adhering to the supply nozzle. The supply nozzles are moved sequentially to a cleaning position where the cleaning unit removes the liquid medication from the supply nozzle. The cleaning position is provided at a position away from the supply position by a distance smaller than a spacing between the supply nozzles.

Disclosed is an online crane game apparatus. The crane game apparatus includes: a body accommodated therein with prizes; a camera for photographing an inside of the body to generate a game play image; a screen unit provided on at least one surface of the body and having a single color; a communication unit for synthesizing a background video or image to an area corresponding to the screen unit in the game play image to transmit the synthesized background video or image to an outside; and a control unit for controlling the communication unit. Accordingly, the user plays the game while watching the game play image that is more exciting, so that a dynamic and realistic game is implemented.

Automated prescription dispensing system and method
09741197 · 2017-08-22 · ·

An automated prescription dispensing system and method for facilitating dispensing of medications from an automated prescription dispenser designed for in-home use. The dispenser may connect to a remote patient monitoring center for monitoring of the patient's dispenser use and adherence to a medication regime. The dispenser may further connect to a remote medication operations center for monitoring replenishment of the patient's medications and to a remote medical center for monitoring the patient's reaction to medications and clinical signs. A connection to a data analytics center and analytical engine facilitates communications among and between the users and/or caregivers at the remote centers. The dispenser may be loaded with a standardized cartridge that is replenished according to the patient's needs. The dispenser is further equipped with a camera that allows a caregiver at the remote patient monitoring center to view the patient while the patient uses the dispenser.

Three dimensional terrain modeling

Techniques for simulating destruction in a simulated space, for example, terrain, are disclosed herein. In some cases, one or more textures may be associated with an area of a simulated space, which may include a three dimensional space. A destructibility value, which may indicate the area's resilience to destruction or strength, may be associated with the area of simulated space. One or more textures of the simulated space may be changed or updated based on the occurrence of a destruction causing event. The change in one or more textures of the simulated space may be determined based at least in part on an intensity associated with the destruction causing event and the destructibility value of the affected simulated area.

System and method for managing the delivery of a food product

A food locker includes a housing, a food support member, a first door, a second door, and a lock. The housing includes a front wall a front wall, a rear wall, and a chamber. The front wall includes a first opening in communication with the chamber. The rear wall includes a second opening in communication with the chamber. The food support member is disposed within the chamber. The first door is supported by the housing and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The food support member is accessible through the first opening when the first door is in the open position. The second door is supported by the housing and is movable between a closed position and an open position. The food support member is accessible through the second opening when the second door is in the open position. The lock is operatively coupled to at least one of the housing and the first door and is actuatable between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The lock is operable to (i) permit the first door to move from the closed position to the open position when the lock is in the unlocked configuration and (ii) prevent the first door from moving from the closed position to the open position when the lock is in the locked configuration.

Augmented reality systems and methods for gaming

A method of displaying player information in a casino using alternate reality includes generating a live video signal of a gaming environment using a camera on an electronic device; determining an identity of a player who is visible in the live video signal; retrieving information about the player from a database of registered players in response to the determined player identity; and displaying information about the player to a user of the electronic device so that the information appears to the user to be adjacent or on the player.
