TERMINAL DEVICE, PURCHASE MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND PROGRAM
In a purchase management system using a self-checkout register, pieces of information, which are respectively registered by individual terminal devices, are shared among a plurality of customers. A terminal device capable of acquiring item identification information of each item to be purchased first acquires a cooperation ID. Next, the terminal device shares the information in real time with a cooperative terminal device that is another terminal device and includes the same cooperation ID.
Threat monitoring and notifications
A system for monitoring financial threats includes: at least one central processing unit and system memory that causes the system to: receive information about a threat associated with a financial services device; identify a type of the threat; identify a location associated with the threat; and notify one or more customers associated with the financial services device based upon the type or the location of the threat.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM, NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE
An information processing device identifies a first feature amount related to the number of the product registered on the specific machine based on an acquired product information, generating, from an image capturing a user in front of the specific machine, a first area information, a second area information and an interaction between the first class and the second class, specifies an action of the user of registering the product to the specific machine based on the first area information, the second area information, and the interaction, identifies a second feature amount related to the number of time of carrying out the action; and generates an alert based on the first feature amount and the second feature amount.
PAYMENT TERMINAL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A payment terminal, including: a display, an input device configured to generate input signals indicative of a user input, a payment instrument reader configured to receive payment instrument data from a financial payment instrument, a secure processor connected to the payment instrument reader, a main processor connected to the display, the main processor separate and distinct from the secure processor, a secure input processor connected to the input device and the secure processor, wherein the secure processor is operable between an unsecured mode, wherein the secure processor sends input coordinates based on the input signals received from the secure input processor to the main processor; and a secured mode, wherein the secure input processor ceases input coordinate forwarding to the main processor.
SHOPPING CART/BASKET READER SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for reading RFID tags or labels on merchandise in a shopping cart or basket includes a chamber sized and configured to receive a shopping cart or basket. The chamber includes a portal sized and configured to accommodate a shopping cart or basket, along with an associated closure that is movable between open and closed conditions. At least one antenna coupled to an RFID reader is associated with an interior of the chamber and oriented to send signals to and receive signals from RFID tags or labels on merchandise in a shopping cart or basket within the chamber. The chamber and the closure are configured to prevent signals sent to and from RFID tags or labels on merchandise in a shopping cart or basket within the chamber from exiting the chamber. A transport mechanism may be provided to automatically move the shopping cart or basket through the chamber.
SELF-CHECKOUT APPARATUS
A self-checkout apparatus of an embodiment has: a display unit that displays information to inform an operator; a reading unit that is positioned in a lateral side of the display unit and receives input of information of a product by reading a code symbol; and a housing base that is positioned below the display unit, the housing base for placing the product after information reception by the reading unit and for placing a housing tool for housing the product; wherein the reading unit is positioned between the display unit and the housing base in a height direction.
Radio frequency identification in self-checkout
The present disclosure provides for radio frequency identification in self-checkout via a first product pathway; a single Radio Frequency Identifier (RFID) antenna, having a first scanning zone aligned with the first product pathway; wherein the first product pathway is configured to: position a first set of objects within the first scanning zone at a first position relative to the single RFID antenna at a first time; and position the first set of object within the first scanning zone at a second position relative to the single RFID, different than the first position, at a second time; and wherein the single RFID antenna is configured to: receive, at the first time, a first set of identifier signals associated with at least some of the first set of objects; and receive, at the second time, a second set of identifier signals associated with at least some of the first set of objects.
Passage gate for emergency opening and a checkout counter
A passage gate for allowing or preventing people to enter or to exit a passage area comprising a base portion (110) and a panel portion (120) is provided. The passage gate (100) is configured to be driven in a first operation mode and a second operation mode. When the passage gate (100) is driven in the first operation mode the panel portion (120) is slidable relative the base portion (110) between a first open position, allowing people to pass, and a closed position preventing people from passing through the passage gate (100). When the passage gate (100) is driven in the second operation mode the base portion (110) is rotatable between the closed position and a second open position for achieving a larger passage area.
