PACK FRAME ILLUMINATED WITH WIRELESS VEHICLE SIGNALING SYSTEM AND HAVING DETACHABLE ACCESSORY PACKS
20220202114 · 2022-06-30 ·

A pack frame for vehicle riders or users on foot forms an X-shaped shell securing different types of detachable accessory packs between the frame and the rider. The detachable accessory packs are secured to the X-shaped frame with cam and collar mechanisms. The detachable accessory packs include a daypack, weekend pack, hydropack, and skatepack, for example. In an implementation, the pack frame forming the X-shaped shell is illuminated by signal lights and a wireless system to mirror traffic signaling of the user's vehicle, such as a motorcycle. The signal lights of the pack frame are adjustable and user-mappable to the vehicle's signaling via a mobile application. A curved and X-shaped brake light on the frame makes the rider of a motorcycle visible from many different viewpoints around the rider.

VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNAL DEVICE
20220194529 · 2022-06-23 ·

A visual distress signal device that generates and emits bright light and/or infrared light to alert bystanders during times of distress. The device may be particularly suited for use on boats. The device may comprise a heat sink assembly that includes a screw-on collar that is attached to a housing of the device, such that the screw-on collar dissipates heat generated by electromagnetic radiation emitting elements away from an interior of the housing. The device may be configured for activation by a mobile phone or other mobile device which may be connected to the device via wireless communication. Furthermore, the mobile device may comprise a software application that can be used to alert persons in a contact list regarding the user's location and emergency status.

IN-LINE MODULAR INDICATOR ASSEMBLY

The current technology relates to an in-line modular indicator assembly. Each of a plurality of in-line modular indicators are configured to be coupled in a series with a first electrical cable and a second electrical cable. The plurality of in-line modular indicators is configured to define an electrically conductive path to transmit electricity from the first electrical cable to the second electrical cable. Each of the in-line modular indicators have detection circuits having alternate configurations and notification devices configured to provide alternate notifications.

ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR ATTACHMENT TO A SIGNALING DEVICE, AND ASSOCIATED SIGNALING SYSTEM

An attachment system for attachment to a signaling device includes an attachment member. The attachment member is formed of a ring-shape made of an elastic material and includes an annular base and at least one fin. The annular base includes an external peripheral edge and a central orifice defining an internal peripheral edge. The annular base also includes an annular lower face and an annular upper face. The fin projects from the external peripheral edge of the annular base. The attachment member is movable between a rest configuration in which the annular base is planar and extends in a main plane to allow insertion and positioning on the signaling device at a selected position, and a deformed configuration in which the annular base is non-planar in a deformed state in order to be able to match a peripheral area of the signaling device.

Emergency alert systems with tracked user interactions

Aspects discussed herein relate to providing alerts to a community of devices located in or near a geographic are such as a building or property. The alerts override any alert-inhibiting state of the mobile device to deliver audio, visual, and/or haptic alerts in emergency situations. The communication and emergency alert system may be used to communicate with many different communities of people. Moreover, certain individuals may be members of more than one community at the same time, and the communities themselves may change over time based both on the user's preferences and on their physical locations. User interaction with their mobile devices and/or provided alerts can be monitored and tracked to determine engagement with the emergency alert system. Additional alerts can be provided on other devices associated with the user until the user is confirmed to have received the alert.
