Various examples described herein are directed to systems, methods, and computer-readable medium for providing a tactile response. A document that includes visual data is received. Change data for the visual data that indicates changes in data values of the visual data from a previous time is received. The visual data is rendered. An indication that a section of the document is selected is received. The section includes a first visual data. A change of the first visual data is determined front the change data. A tactile response unit is controlled to provide a tactile response based on the change of the first visual data.

Tactile system

A haptic system includes a haptic device and a control device. A sensor of the haptic device detects contact of a finger of a user who grips a casing, a determination unit of the control device determines whether sensor information on a contact position of the finger detected by the sensor of the haptic device matches preset reference position information, and an instruction unit sends a notification unit a notification instruction in at least one of cases where the sensor information does not match the reference position information and where the sensor information matches the reference position information. On accepting the notification instruction, the notification unit of the haptic device notifies the user of an indication indicating that the contact position of the finger is shifted or an indication indicating that the contact position of the finger matches the reference position.

Tactile system

A haptic system includes a haptic device and a control device. An actuator housing intended to provide haptic feedback in a vehicle includes a container having a recess configured to accommodate an oscillating actuator and an insertion opening that opens into the recess, and a cover configured to at least partially close the insertion opening of the container. The container and the cover being are mounted so as to be able to move in translation relative to each other and configured such that, when the oscillating actuator is accommodated in the recess the oscillation of the oscillating actuator causes the cover to move in translation relative to the container, generating haptic vibration in a direction of movement.
