An authentication control device according to the present disclosure is provided with an image acquisition means for acquiring an image including an authentication object person walking in the monitoring area photographed by a camera for photographing the monitoring area, an authentication control means for causing an authentication device for performing face authentication to perform face authentication of the authentication object person included in the image acquired by the image acquisition means, a projection area specification means for specifying a projection area in which the result of the face authentication is projected, and a projection control means for causing the projection device to project the result of the face authentication on the projection area specified by the projection area specification means.

Automobile detection system

A method includes receiving sensor data from a sensor associated with a vehicle and determining a likelihood that the vehicle is experiencing an emergency condition based on the sensor data. The method also includes sending an alert indicative of the likelihood, the alert comprising at least a portion of the sensor data.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRIGGERING AN ALARM DURING A SENSOR JAMMING ATTACK

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for triggering an alarm during a sensor jamming attack. In one aspect, a monitoring system sensor unit is disclosed that includes a sensor, a communication unit configured to communicate with a monitoring system using a range of frequencies, and a jamming detection unit. The jamming detection unit may include a processor and a computer storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include detecting a sensor jamming event, selecting a different form of communication other than the range of radio frequencies for the communication unit to communicate with the monitoring system, and providing, to the communication unit, an instruction to communicate with the monitoring system using the form of communication, wherein the communication unit may communicate, to the monitoring system using the form of communication, the sensor data.

SYSTEM FOR DETECTING AND TRACKING AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON

A system includes a plurality of sensors distributed about a space. Each sensor generates sensor data associated with properties of one or more people in the space. An automated response subsystem receives the sensor data. An unauthorized activity performed by a first person in the space is detected based on at least a portion of the received sensor data. In response to detecting the unauthorized activity, tracking instructions are transmitted that identify the first person associated with the unauthorized activity. A tracking device receives the tracking instructions. A device associated with the first person is detected. Over a period of time, the tracking device sends queries to the device and receives corresponding responses from the device. The tracking device determines positions of the device within the space over the period of time.

Control system user interface

Embodiments include systems and methods comprising a gateway located at a premise forming at least one network on the premise that includes a plurality of premise devices. A sensor user interface (SUI) is coupled to the gateway and presented to a user via a remote device. The SUI includes at least one display element. The at least one display element includes a floor plan display that represents at least one floor of the premise. The floor plan display visually and separately indicates a location and a current state of each premise device of the plurality of premise devices.

A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A SPACE BY A PORTABLE SENSOR DEVICE AND A METHOD THEREOF

A method and a system for monitoring a space by a portable sensor device (102) are disclosed. The portable sensor device (102) comprising a first sensor (120) of a first sensor type for providing first sensor data indicative of first environmental information in the space, and a second sensor (122) of a second sensor type for providing second sensor data indicative of second environmental information in the space. The method comprises determining a location of the portable sensor device (102) in the space, transmitting, if the portable sensor device (102) is located at the first location, the first sensor data indicative of the first environmental information via the communication unit to a first device or application (110) of a plurality of devices or applications (110, 112), and transmitting, if the portable sensor (device 102) is located at the second location, the second sensor data indicative of the second environmental information via the communication unit to a second device or application (112) of the plurality of devices or applications (110, 112).

According to an aspect of intrusion detectors for lorries, there is provided a method of detecting intrusion of one or more persons into cargo hold of a vehicle carrying goods that emit carbon dioxide the method comprising identifying an intrusion event by detecting a decrease in concentration of carbon dioxide within the cargo hold. For example, the intrusion evident may be identified by detecting a decrease in concentration of carbon dioxide within the cargo hold of at least 400 ppm. A decrease in CO.sub.2 can be attributed to unauthorised access being made into the cargo hold as cargo holds typically remain closed during a journey.
