Preemptive Personal Safety System
The invention is a psychological system that combines a personal protection device with a clearly identifiable static display to show that recording of actions and identities is highly likely.
It is a multipurpose system, operating as a personal security device with pulsating red and blue lights as a visible warning, a video system recording identities and criminal or abusive behavior; as a vehicle security system with a rear vehicle reflective display sticker showing that recording of actions and identities is highly likely, with a personal protection device in the vehicle on the driver's wrist; a system that works like a home security device with a preemptive yard sign indicating the presence of technical security within the home.
If a crime is committed, the video and audio recording will reveal the time, the person's identity, and actions to provide for criminal prosecution. Thus, it preemptively and non-confrontationally discourages criminal and abusive behavior. Its intent is a passive deterrent rather than physical defense. The recording is archived, and provides evidence for a quick investigative response.
Intrusion Prevention Device
An intrusion prevention device running a program thereon and communicably connected to an external control device, the intrusion prevention device including a main body to removably connect to at least a portion of a building, a primary nozzle movably disposed on at least a portion of the main body, at least one sensor disposed on at least a portion of the main body to detect a presence of at least one hostile third party, such that the primary nozzle dispenses a lachrymatory agent toward the at least one hostile third party in response to a determination that a threat exists, a camera disposed on at least a portion of the main body to record the at least one hostile third party thereon using at least one of at least one picture and at least one video, a speaker disposed on at least a portion of the main body to emit at least one alarm sound in response to the determination that a threat exists, and at least one security light disposed on at least a portion of the main body to illuminate a surrounding area in response to the determination that a threat exists.

eReceptionist and eNeighborhood watch system for crime prevention and/or verification
A system comprising a camera sensor, a circuit and an identification device. The camera sensor may be configured to generate video data of an environment. The circuit may be configured to (A) communicate with a network through a wireless connection, (B) provide an electrical connection to (i) a plurality of components and (ii) the camera sensor and (C) enable at least one of (i) the components and (ii) the camera sensor in response to an authentication signal. The identification device may be configured to generate the authentication signal. The plurality of components may be configured to implement a virtual receptionist. The video data may be transmitted to the network. The authentication signal may be transmitted using the network. The notifications may be generated by the components.
Sharing video footage from audio/video recording and communication devices
Sharing video footage recorded by audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices, such as video doorbells and security cameras. When an A/V recording and communication device records video footage of suspicious activity, or even criminal activity, a user viewing the footage may alert his or her neighbors by sharing the video. In various embodiments, the user may share the video with anyone of the user's choosing, including neighbors, friends, and family.
Secure device for applying an electrical pulse
The device for applying an electrical pulse includes at least one glove having a glove body ending in glove fingers, at least three of which are provided with first application contacts, connected to an electrical energy source via a control unit. The glove further includes second application contacts. The control unit includes a selector for applying a differential electrical pulse between the first and second application contacts.
SELF-DEFENSE AND ALERT SYSTEM
Self-defense devices, methods, and computer program products such as a pepper spray may take one or more photographs of the assailant and send the photos and/or other data (e.g., time, location) to an emergency responder with the location. The self-defense device may also send a message to the user's emergency contacts alerting the contacts that their contact has used the self-defense device and may include the location of where the self-defense device was activated and other information about the situation and/or user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERRING THEFT OF PACKAGE, AND DEVICE THEREFOR
A system, method, and a package tracking device for tracking the movement of a package to prevent theft of the package are described. According to an embodiment, a package tracking device adapted to be attached with a package is described. The package tracking device having a unique device identification number allows a user, through an application interface running of a wireless communication device, to associate a geographical boundary (geo-fencing) with the delivery address of the package. The package tracking device operates in a passive tracking mode when the package is within the defined geographical boundary, generates a first signal when the package is moved from a drop location, generates a second signal when the package is moved out from the geofencing associated with the delivery address and operates in active tracking mode when the package is moved out from the geofencing associated with the delivery address.
POWER OUTLET CAMERAS
A security system can can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include a detection system comprising a camera, motion detector, speaker, microphone, and a pair of electrical prongs arranged and configured to protrude into the power outlet to receive power for the detection system. The security system can also include a remote computing device communicatively coupled to the detection system.
Averting a danger
Provided are embodiments of a method for averting a danger performed by a control apparatus. The method involves a step of obtaining a plurality of pieces of sensor information. At least partially depending on the obtained pieces of sensor information, it is determined whether a danger exists. A support offer request message is transmitted if it is determined that the danger exists. At least one first support offer message is received from a first support apparatus in response to the support offer request message. At least partially depending on the received first support offer message, it is determined whether a first support measure of the first support apparatus is suitable for averting the danger. The first support measure is then prompted if it is determined that the first support measure is suitable for averting the danger.
