COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) NETWORKS
A system and methods comprise a touchscreen at a premises. The touchscreen includes a processor coupled to a security system at the premises. User interfaces are presented via the touchscreen. The user interfaces include a security interface that provides control of functions of the security system and access to data collected by the security system, and a network interface that provides access to network devices. A camera at the premises is coupled to the touchscreen via a plurality of interfaces. A security server at a remote location is coupled to the touchscreen. The security server comprises a client interface through which remote client devices exchange data with the touchscreen and the security system.
Detection and handling of home owner moving by a home monitoring system
Techniques are described for determining that a property is vacant based on monitoring data collected by connected sensors and appliances near or within the property. In response to determining that a property is vacant, the condition of the vacant property can be monitored for various risks such as fire safety and security breaches. Monitoring techniques may also be used to determine when a new customer (e.g., a new tenant or property owner) has moved into the property. In response to detecting a move-in, one or more notifications may be transmitted to assist the new customer to customize a security system associated with the property. In this regard, techniques described herein may be used by service providers to improve the transition associated with move-in and move-out processes, which may also improve retention of monitoring services.
Luminaire Network with Sensors
The invention relates to a luminaire network comprising a plurality of luminaires as well as a central unit, and comprising a central communication unit. A plurality of luminaires in the network comprises a communication unit configured to make it possible for the luminaires to communicate with each other and/or with the central communication unit, as well as a control unit configured to control the luminaire as well as the communication unit. The central unit comprises information about the location of the luminaires. A plurality of the luminaires in the luminaire network further comprise at least one sensor which can sense information relating to the environment of the luminaire, wherein the communication unit of said luminaires is configured to send messages relating to the sensed information to the central communication unit, and the central unit is configured to analyze the received messages and to output the results of the analysis.

Systems and methods for monitoring a physical environment using virtual sensors
In some implementations, a system may identify a plurality of sensor devices that are associated with a physical environment. The system may receive an indication that a set of sensor devices (e.g., that includes two or more sensor devices) are to be associated with a virtual sensor that is associated with the physical environment. The system may generate, based on receiving the indication, the virtual sensor. The system may obtain sensor data that was captured by the set of sensor devices. The system may process the sensor data to determine a set of parameters associated the virtual sensor. The system may determine, based on the set of parameters associated with the virtual sensor, that a physical environment condition is satisfied. The system may cause, based on determining that the physical environment condition is satisfied, one or more actions to be performed.
Integrated security system with parallel processing architecture
Methods and systems for managing a premises are disclosed. The premises may comprise a premises management device. The premises management device may be in communication with a security system. The premises management device may manage consumption by maintaining or disabling components associated with the premise management device.
Security sentinel robot
A building monitoring system includes a first sensor configured to detect a first condition in the space, a second sensor configured to detect a second condition in the space, and a robotic sentinel. The robotic sentinel includes a memory for storing one or more rules each configured to identify an alert condition for the space based on the first and/or second conditions in the space, a communications module configured to communicate with a remote device over a network, and a controller operatively coupled to the sensors, the memory, and the communications module. The controller is configured to apply the one or more rules to the first and second detected conditions in the space to identify one or more alert conditions and determine what action is required by the robotic sentinel, and if action is required, command the robotic sentinel to travel to a location of the alert condition.
Detecting threat events
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods are provided. One or more first signals received from one or more first devices may be monitored. One or more first threat indicators within a first signal of the one or more first signals may be detected. One or more second signals may be analyzed to determine a probability of a threat event. One or more second devices of a plurality of devices may be selected, based upon the probability, for transmission of one or more messages associated with the threat event.
