SMART SECURITY BARRIER SENSOR
A system, method and apparatus for monitoring a barrier. The barrier sensor refrains from transmitting an alarm signal to a receiver when the barrier sensor determines that the barrier has been placed into an open position and that a human being is inside the premises in proximity to the human detection device. Further, the barrier sensor transmits an alarm signal to a receiver when the barrier sensor determines that the barrier has been moved from the open position and that a human being is not inside the premises in proximity to the barrier.
THERMAL-SENSING FIRE DOOR
A fire door system is disclosed herein. The fire door system comprises a door and a door control unit coupled to the door. A plurality of sensors is configured on the door or adjacent the door. A controller is coupled to the door control unit and the plurality of sensors. The controller facilitates activation of the motorized door unit for maintaining the door in a closed position subsequent to sensing of a surrounding temperature by the plurality of sensors, wherein the surrounding temperature is greater than a threshold temperature.
Premises management configuration and control
Disclosed are methods, systems, and devices for management of a premises. The premises may comprise one or more devices, such as a gateway device, a control device, or a premises device. A computing device, such as a server external to the premises, may receive data indicative of the premises device. The computing device may determine to update a configuration of one or more devices at the premises, such as the gateway device or the control device. Configuration data may be sent to the gateway device to update the configuration.
Integrative security system and method
A method for monitoring and securing a facility without employing a manned control center, according to which a server acquires surveillance data from each of a plurality of distributed surveillance devices deployed within or adjacent to a given security sensitive facility. Then the server receives an intrusion alert from a guard, or from one or more of the plurality of surveillance devices to initiate a triggering event, if the acquired surveillance data is indicative of activity that has been detected at an indicated location. A first guard is alerted and presented with a full situational awareness image to assess the severity of the detected activity and the triggering event is terminated if found by the first guard to be of a low severity, or an interception operation initiated by self-dispatching or dispatching one or more additional guards to a close by location that holds tactical advantage relative to the indicated location if the triggering event was found by the first guard to be of a high severity.
Event detection using distributed event devices
Devices, systems, and methods for event detection using distributed event devices are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a first event device and a second event device, where the first event device is configured to detect an event in an area and wirelessly transmit a notification of the detected event and location information associated with the first event device to the second event device, and where the second event device is configured to receive the notification of the detected event and the location information from the first event device, determine whether the location information matches a location included in a database in response to receiving the detected event, and perform an activation action responsive to determining the location information matches a location included in the database.
Systems, methods, and devices for activity monitoring via a home assistant
The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for monitoring activity in a home environment. In one aspect, a method performed at a voice-assistant device includes: while operating in an assistant mode, receiving an occupant command to operate in a monitoring mode; in response to the command, transitioning to operating in the monitoring mode; while operating in the monitoring mode, detecting a sound; obtaining a determination as to whether the sound meets one or more monitoring criteria; and in accordance with a determination that the sound meets the one or more monitoring criteria, generating an alert or notification.
Fire alarm system and booster
A fire detector is connected to a loop transmission line connected to a receiver. When the loop transmission line is normal, a transmission unit is connected to the fire detector. When a disconnection failure occurs, a disconnection monitoring unit turns on switching circuits to connect the end of the loop transmission line to the transmission unit, and the receiver connects to the fire detector from both ends of the loop transmission line. An input/output switching booster is inserted and connected in the middle of the loop transmission line, and when the start side transmission line is disconnected and the switching circuits are turned on, the input/output is switched. Accordingly, the input/output switching booster amplifies the down signal input from the terminal side transmission line and outputs it to the start side transmission line and at the same time amplifies the up signal input from the start side transmission line.
PROCESSING DEVICE, PROCESSING METHOD, AND NONTRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention provides a processing apparatus (10) including: a detection unit (11) that detects that a notification apparatus is operated; an acquisition unit (12) that acquires, when it is detected that the notification apparatus is operated, at least one of an image generated by a camera and a sound collected by a microphone; a decision unit (13) that decides whether at least one of the image and the sound satisfies a notification condition; and an output unit (14) that outputs, when it is decided that the notification condition is satisfied, notification information indicating that the notification apparatus is operated.
AGRICULTURAL ALARM SYSTEM WITH GEOFENCE FEATURES
An agricultural alarm system is for use in association with an agricultural production facility. The agricultural alarm system has a geofence outlining a boundary of an agricultural production facility. At least one sensor located within the geofence boundary senses whether a physical property is within a desired range. The geofence is adapted to sense whether a user device is located inside the geofence boundary. At least one computing device is adapted to receive signals from the at least one sensor indicating an alarm condition when the physical property is outside the desired range. The computing device is adapted to cause alarm notifications to be sent to a first group of user devices when the alarm condition exists. The members of the first group are determined based on their presence within the geofence boundary.
AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE REFUELING
Methods and systems for autonomous vehicle recharging or refueling are disclosed. Autonomous vehicles may be automatically refueled by routing the vehicles to available fueling stations when not in operation, according to methods described herein. A fuel level within a tank of an autonomous vehicle may be monitored until it reaches a refueling threshold, at which point an on-board computer may generate a predicted use profile for the vehicle. Based upon the predicted use profile, a time and location for the vehicle to refuel the vehicle may be determined. In some embodiments, the vehicle may be controlled to automatically travel to a fueling station, refill a fuel tank, and return to its starting location in order to refuel when not in use.
