A system and method for monitoring safety of an environment is provided. The system includes a plurality of sensors, a non-transitory memory storing an executable code, and a hardware processor executing the executable code to receive a first input from a first sensor, the first input including a first current condition information, compare the first current condition information with a current condition database, receive a second input from a second sensor, the second input including a second current condition information, compare the second current condition information with the current condition database, determine an event based on the comparison of the first current condition with the current condition database and the comparison of the second current condition with the current condition database, and transmit a signal in response the determination of the event.

Distributed processing network system, integrated response systems and methods providing situational awareness information for emergency response

A distributed processing network system (10), an integrated response system (50) comprising multiple distributed processing network systems and related methods providing situational awareness information for emergency responses. In one embodiment there is disclosed a response system (50) comprising first and second server based systems (10, 11) each providing real time awareness of personnel (18, 19) for different organizations, the first system receiving information for a first organization and the second system receiving information for a second organization, the first system coupled to the second system to communicate information generated in the first system to personnel in the second organization via the second system to facilitate timely and appropriate response by personnel in the second organization to an emergency situation in the first organization.

Methods and arrangements for sensors

Example methods and arrangements for sensors are disclosed herein. At least one storage device or storage disk includes instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor of a mobile electronic device to at least access notification data indicative of an event at a security perimeter of a building, the notification data corresponding to a change in a status of one or more sensors at the security perimeter; present the notification data to a user of the mobile electronic device, the notification data including image data associated with the event; generate a message based on a user input at the mobile electronic device in response to the notification data; and output the message to cause a responsive action.

Coverage agent for computer-aided dispatch systems

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a virtual dispatch assist system in which various types of Intelligent Agents are deployed (e.g., as part of a new CAD system architecture or as add-ons to existing CAD systems) to analyze vast amounts of historic operational data and provide various types of dispatch assist notifications and recommendations that can be used by a dispatcher or by the CAD system itself (e.g., autonomously) to make dispatch decisions.

Automated bulk location-based actions

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for automating bulk location-based actions in response to disaster events. A system obtains data defining zones related to different geographic locations and configures a set of preferences for each zone. One of the preferences is a command for responding to an event. The system detects a disaster event and determines that a location affected by the event is related to a zone defined at the system. The system obtains sensor data generated by a sensor in the zone that is connected to a monitoring system for the zone. The system generates an alert based on the sensor data and the command and provides the alert to a client device of an entity that manages properties in the zone. The alert provides an assessment of how the disaster event affects items at properties in the zone.

Home health optimization

The present invention comprises a novel Virtual Facilities Manager architecture that optimizes home health by combining multiple prediction engines, fed by continuously monitored and processed sensor-based and environmental data (historical as well as current), with an integrated Homecare Network of homeowners and service and other providers. This enables a continuous feedback process in which abnormal conditions (symptoms of an underlying problem, including suboptimal performance) are detected and addressed by issuing contextual alerts with associated actions (related alert-action pairs) in an iterative manner over time. By maintaining a Home Health Record including Scores (e.g., reliability and energy efficiency) representing the systemic state of one or more homes, the present invention detects not only maintenance issues, but also suboptimal performance “problems,” and addresses them with the same iterative troubleshooting approach until such scores return to an acceptable level.

Security system with networked touchscreen

Methods and systems for monitoring a premises are described. A computing device may receive data from a premises management system. The computing device determines one or more actions to perform by analyzing the data. The computing device may determine to output, via a user interface, an indication associated with the data. A user may request video associated with the data.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MONITORING ALARMS FROM THIRD PARTY DEVICES

A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.
