User interfaces associated with device applications
This application is directed to user interfaces for displaying information associated with electronic devices. For instance, a client device may receive a request to open an application. The client device may then receive, from a network device, image data generated by one or more electronic devices. Using the image data, the client device may display one or more images represented by the image data on a user interface, where an individual image is associated with a respective electronic device. After a time period has elapsed, the client device may receive, from the network device, additional image data generated by the one or more electronic devices, where the additional image data represents one or more updated images. The client device may then display the one or more updated images, instead of the one or more images, using the user interface.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ALTERNATING TRANSMITTER FOR METAL FOIL DETECTION NEAR MOVING DOORS
A system may include a security controller communicatively coupled with pedestals having a first set of antennas and a second set of antennas spaced from the first set of antennas to form an interrogation zone. The security controller may be configured to alternate transmission and reception of interrogation signals between the first set of antennas and the second set of antennas. The security controller may be configured to determine whether a metal object is detected in the interrogation zone in response to the reception of the interrogation signals by the second set of antennas or by the first set of antennas. The security controller may be configured to generate and send an alarm signal in response to the metal object being detected in the interrogation zone.
Indoor positioning system for fire alarm system
A building management system tracks occupants of a building in which the building management system is installed and presents information about the occupants, including location information, to first responders during emergency and/or training events. Distributed devices of the building management system receive identification information broadcast by user devices of the occupants and sends the identification information to a control panel of the building management system. Location information for the occupants is generated based on the identification information received from the user devices and stored along with time and date information. This location information is then retrieved and presented to first responders, for example, by displaying a map of the building with icons representing the distributed devices and occupants, based on the location information.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY DISARMING AN INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM
A system for automatically disarming an intrusion detection system protecting a premises and having at least an armed state of operation and a disarmed state of operation, the system for automatically disarming the intrusion detection system including an intrusion detection system state of operation ascertainer operable for receiving an indication of activation of an armed state of operation of the intrusion detection system; and a registered mobile communicator proximity detector communicating with the intrusion detection system state of operation ascertainer and operable, responsive to receiving the indication of activation of the armed state of operation by the intrusion detection system state of operation ascertainer for ascertaining at least a subset of a multiplicity of registered mobile communicators which are located in a vicinity of the premises during an activation time of the armed state of operation and for deactivating the subset of the multiplicity of registered mobile communicators.
EXPLOSION PROOF FIBER OPTIC BASED DETECTION
A system for measuring a status of a detection device having a component transformable between a plurality of configurations includes a fiber optic cable for transmitting light. The at least one fiber optic cable defines a node arranged in communication with the component. A control system is operably coupled to the fiber optic cable such that scattered light reflected from the component and returned to the node is transmitted to the control system. The control system analyzes the scattered light to determine the configuration of the component.
Automatic threat identification and response system
A system and method provides for automatic threat identification and response. The system and method detects a first incident and classifies the incident. In response to the classification of the incident, a first human readable indication corresponding to the classification of the incident is transmitted over a communication channel.
Systems and methods of monitoring alarms from third party devices
A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.
CHAMBERED HIGH SENSITIVITY FIBER OPTIC SMOKE DETECTION
A detection system for measuring one or more conditions within a predetermined area includes at least one fiber optic cable for transmitting light to and receiving scattered light from one or more nodes and a cover plate having an internal cavity. The cover plate surrounds the one or more nodes such that the one or more nodes are in communication with the internal cavity. A control system is operably coupled to the at least one fiber optic cable so that the scattered light received by the one or more nodes is transmitted to the control system. The control system analyzes the scattered light to evaluate a condition at the one or more nodes.
METHOD FOR ALLOWING DRONE ACTIVITY TO MODIFY EVENT DETECTION BY A MONITORING SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for enabling drone activity in a property monitored by a property monitoring system without triggering a false alarm. In one aspect, the method includes actions of obtaining a location of the drone, identifying a first sensor installed at the property that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, detecting first sensor data generated by the first sensor that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, wherein the first sensor data includes data that is indicative of an event, determining whether a second sensor that is mounted to the drone is generating second sensor data that corroborates the event indicated by the first sensor data, and disregarding, by the property monitoring system, the first sensor data in determining whether to trigger an alarm.
Smoke detecting circuit and display panel using the same
The present disclosure provides a smoke detecting circuit and a display panel using the smoke detecting circuit. The circuit includes a smoke sensor, a smoke detecting module, and a first switch module. When the circuit is triggered on fire or smoking because of a short circuit, the smoke sensor is able to detect a smoke signal, the smoke detecting module is able to export a controlling signal immediately to control disconnection of the first switch module, cutting off a power source of a load, and protecting the load immediately while an accident happens. The load can be a display panel. The smoke detecting circuit is used for detecting the smoke signal of the display panel, without any additional external multi-function card, which reduces the installation space of the display panel with an easier arrangement of flat cables, and protects the display panel right away from accidents.
