System and method enabling interactive services in alarm system environment
The present invention is a software as a service platform providing a system and method enabling interactive services between the end-users, emergency responders, and central monitoring stations. In an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the system provides an electronic notification of an alarm event to an end-user by way of a secure hyperlink to a web portal. The web portal provides a method enabling the end-user to interact with the central monitoring station and/or the emergency responders as well as view live and historical data from the alarm event including video. The system is configured to acquire historical video and data from the actual alarm triggering event from a variety of disparate sources including devices associated with life safety systems and lifestyle systems. The present invention, by enabling interactive services between the end-users, emergency responders, and central monitoring stations, provides better information and a better understanding of the alarm triggering event thereby informing decision making processes of the end-users, emergency responders, and central monitoring stations.
System and method for automating emergency egress advisement generation
A system for generating emergency egress advisement for a building having at least one first computing device that determines a floormap and generates initial emergency egress advisement for the building and at least one second computing device that improves generation of initial emergency egress advisement. The second computing device can receive the initial emergency egress advisement, iteratively train a model for the building by correlating the initial emergency egress advisement to corresponding information about intended egress outcomes for different emergency situations in the building across one or more model layers using one or more machine learning algorithms, predict, based on real-time information about the emergency and historic user presence information, presence and location information of users in the building, generate egress routes that can be used by the users, and update, based on a trained model and the generated egress routes, the initial emergency egress advisement for the building.
Artificial intelligence for event response
A method for artificial intelligence (AI) event response includes receiving an event alert or a communication associated with an event alert from a communication device. The method includes an AI system collecting additional information about at least one of the event alert, the communication device, or a user of the communication device. The method includes the AI system categorizing the event alert into one category of multiple categories based on the collected additional information. The method includes prioritizing subsequent handling of the event alert among other event alerts based on the category.
Home security assembly
A home security assembly includes a first shower head to facilitate bathing. A plurality of first light emitters is each of the first light emitters is integrated into the first shower head to emit light outwardly from the first shower head when the first light emitters are turned on. A second shower head is releasably attachable to the first shower head. A plurality of second light emitters is each integrated into the second shower head to emit light outwardly from the second shower head when the second light emitters are turned on. A control unit is integrated into the second shower head and the control unit is in remote communication with an alarm system. Each of the first light emitters and the second light emitters is turned on when the control circuit receives the intruder alert from the alarm system to visually alert the user to the presence of an intruder.
Systems to infer identities of persons of interest rapidly and alert first responders
Systems, devices, and technical methods of the present disclosure leverage digital visitor logs from confinement facilities to identify people of interest that may be involved in incidents to which first responders are dispatched. When a phone call is received at phone public safety access point, a first query including a name associated with the call is transmitted to a digital visitor log for a confinement facility. A digital response to the first query identifies a visitee who was visited by a visitor by that name while the visitee was in confinement. The visitee's name is then transmitted in a second query to a digital repository containing release records; a digital response indicates the visitee was released before the call was received. An electronic notification that identifies the visitee is transmitted to a device associated with an agent who is responding to the call.
COMMUNITY-BASED RESPONSE SYSTEM
A community based response system for providing lay responders to cardiac arrest emergencies is configured to receive a notification of a cardiac arrest emergency including a location of a cardiac arrest victim, provide an automatic alert to portable devices in a vicinity of the victim, the automatic alert including a selectable control that enables user interoperation with the system, receive an indication from a lay responder, via a respective portable device, that the lay responder will proceed to the location of the victim, and in response to the indication that the lay responder will proceed to the location of the victim, provide at a display screen of the portable device associated with the lay responder a map including the victim's location relative to the lay responder, and a navigational route to guide the lay responder to the victim, and a dispatch text message notification.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PHYSICAL ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
An access control system includes a plurality of physical access control readers that form a reader network which utilizes a first communication protocol. The system includes a plurality of mobile communication devices each having a first communication interface and a second communication interface. The first communication interface enables the mobile communication devices to access a mobile communication network which utilizes a second communication protocol, and the second communication interlace enables the mobile communication devices to communicate with the access control readers. The plurality of physical access control readers exchange status information for the plurality of physical access control readers and for the plurality of mobile communication devices over the reader network.
Cooperative monitoring networks
An electronic monitoring system is described that receives data from a particular monitoring system, receives data from multiple other monitoring systems, analyzes data received from the particular monitoring system irrespective of data received from the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the analysis, determines whether one or more events occur at the particular environment, and in response to determining that a particular event occurs at the particular environment, evaluates the particular event against a set of rules, selects, based on the evaluation results, a particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems to serve as a cooperative monitoring network, assesses data received from the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, based on the assessment, tracks, in connection with the particular event, events detected by the particular subset of the multiple other monitoring systems, and handles the particular event based on the tracked events.
Methods, systems, apparatuses, and devices for providing protection to users working in the field
A method and system for providing protection to users working in a field are provided. Further, the method may include steps of receiving user data associated with the users from user devices, receiving sensor data associated with the users from sensors comprised in the user devices, analyzing the user data and the sensor data, determining a condition of the users based on the analyzing, comparing the condition with alert triggering conditions based on the determining of the condition, generating alert notifications for the users based on the comparing of the condition with the alert triggering conditions, transmitting the alert notifications to emergency contact devices associated with emergency contacts of the users, and storing the user data, the sensor data, the condition, and the alert notifications.
Rapid response system for cardiac arrest
An improved emergency response system includes a set of databases which relates to volunteer responders and patients, which is controlled by a central system computer.
