There are provided an engine controlling section for controlling a rotational speed of an engine, a horizontal posture controlling section for rendering a vehicle body frame to a horizontal posture by controlling a posture changing mechanism configured to change a posture of the vehicle body frame by an operation of an actuator utilizing power from the engine, a yield measuring section for measuring a yield of grains stored in a grain tank based on measurement result of a load cell configured to measure a weight of the grain tank, an activation operational tool for outputting an activation signal for activating yield measurement by the yield measuring section, and a yield controlling section configured to provide the engine controlling section with a high speed rotation instruction for driving the engine at a rated rotational speed in response to the activation signal and also to provide the horizontal posture controlling section with a horizontal posture instruction for rendering the vehicle body frame to the horizontal posture.
Disc mower cutterbar shroud
A shroud for the rearward periphery of the cutter knives on a rotary disc cutterbar that creates a floor surface slightly above and adjacent to the rotating plane of the knives thereby reducing the tendency for cut crop material to fall into contact with the knives along the rearward periphery of the cutterbar.
Gauge wheels for a multi-section agricultural header
A gauging system is adapted for use with a crop harvesting header of the type having a pair of wing frame portions connected to a center frame portion by a balancing linkage and which is operable in a first mode of operation by engagement of a skid plate of each wing frame portion along the ground. In one embodiment of the invention, the gauging system includes i) outer gauge wheels supporting the outer ends of the wing frame portions such that the skid plate is at a controlled distance from the ground and ii) inner gauge wheels proximate the center frame portion for supporting the inner ends of the wing frame portions such that the skid plate is at a controlled distance from the ground according to a second mode of operation of the header.
Rotary cutting deck with asymmetric rear discharge opening
A rotary cutting deck having an inverted dish-shaped cutting chamber supported by a framework carrying a plurality of ground engaging members, a rotary cutting blade mounted to a spindle extending through the cutting chamber, an asymmetric rear discharge opening above the rotary cutting blade, and a band below the opening.
TILT CYLINDER REMOTE ATTACHMENT APPARATUS
A header is removably attached to lift arms of an agricultural harvester and by a tilt cylinder pivotable about an axis A between an elevated installation position and a lower operational position. A perch assembly including a perch is positioned adjacent axis A to remotely pivot the tilt cylinder between the installation and operating positions and a downwardly facing hook shaped latching device is mounted on the tilt cylinder to engage and attach to a mounting pin on the header.
Harvesting machine header connection
A drive arrangement for a harvesting header of a harvesting machine having a running gear on which a feeder housing is mounted. A front side of the feeder housing has a header mount that moves relative to the feeder housing and on which the harvesting header is detachably fastened. An automated coupling mechanism is provided to link a driven shaft from the harvesting machine to a drive shaft of the harvesting header as the header is connected to the harvesting machine. The drive connector connected with the header mount is movable relative thereto during the attachment of the harvesting header to axially align the driven shaft and drive shaft as the harvesting header approaches the feeder housing during the attachment to accommodate differing header drive shaft orientations.
Mower deck transport lock
A mower deck transport lock includes a striker bracket mounted to a rock shaft and extending downwardly and forwardly to engage a height of cut support at any of a plurality of height of cut positions. A transport lock pin positioned adjacent the height of cut support can slide between a first position and a second position. A spring biases the transport lock pin toward the first position and into engagement with the striker bracket to support the mower deck at a transport height above the plurality of height of cut positions. A transport lock disengagement pedal urges the transport lock pin to slide towards the second position to disengage the transport lock pin from the striker bracket.
Windrower with quick header attachment
An agricultural work vehicle is operable to be advanced along the ground to sever a swath of standing forage plants and to lay the severed forage material into a windrow. The agricultural work vehicle includes a powered chassis, a harvesting header, and a quick-attachment header adapter. The header adapter is shiftably supported by the powered chassis and is configured to selectively support the harvesting header. The header adapter includes an adapter frame, having end supports and a center support, and a selectively actuatable latch assembly supported on the adapter frame. The latch assembly is associated with at least one of the supports to releasably secure the harvesting header to the adapter frame when the latch assembly is engaged and permit disconnection from the adapter frame when the latch assembly is disengaged.
SELF-PROPELLED HARVESTING MACHINE
The invention relates to a self-propelled harvesting machine comprising:—a removable harvesting unit (6) which can be mounted at the front in the direction of travel (F);—a processing unit in the interior; and—a harvested material conveyor channel (5) connecting said harvesting unit, when mounted, to the processing unit. According to the invention, the self-propelled harvesting machine is characterised in that a receiving space which at least partially receives said conveyor channel when in the harvesting mode can have its width adjusted transversely to the direction of travel.
VEHICLE WITH VARIABLE CASTER ANGLE
A work vehicle includes a chassis; a primary wheel carried by the chassis; and a caster assembly carried by the chassis. The caster assembly includes a pivotable swivel structure defining a caster angle; and a caster wheel swivelly linked to the swivel structure and defining a wheelbase relative to the primary wheel. A change in the wheelbase passively causes the swivel structure to pivot and change the caster angle.
