Method for protecting a nonmobile work machine driven by an electric motor, and nonmobile work machine driven by an electric motor

A method for protecting a nonmobile work machine driven by an electric motor includes determining, via a measuring unit, at least one measured value of a time-critical parameter of the work machine. The work machine is switched off when the determined measured value of the time-critical parameter is outside a predefined setpoint range. The determined measured value of the time-critical parameter is quantized in a level signal and transmitted as a first signal to an evaluation unit via an interface, and a second signal for further information concerning the work machine, to be transmitted from the measuring unit to the evaluation unit, is modulated to the first signal.

Edge node cluster network redundancy and fast convergence using an underlay anycast VTEP IP

Some embodiments provide a method for providing redundancy and fast convergence for modules operating in a network. The method configures modules to use a same anycast inner IP address, anycast MAC address, and to associate with a same anycast VTEP IP address. In some embodiments, the modules are operating in an active-active mode and all nodes running modules advertise the anycast VTEP IP addresses with equal local preference. In some embodiments, modules are operating in active-standby mode and the node running the active module advertises the anycast VTEP IP address with higher local preference.

SENSOR NODE AND VIBRATION MONITORING SYSTEM

A sensor node includes an acceleration sensor that measures a vibration characteristic of a monitoring target, a memory, a sensor node radio communicator that communicates with a command center, and a sensor node controller that controls the acceleration sensor, the memory, and the sensor node radio communicator. The sensor node controller sends a detection signal indicating a detection of an abnormal vibration via the sensor node radio communicator to the command center immediately after the acceleration sensor detects the abnormal vibration; after sending the detection signal, causes the acceleration sensor to newly measure the vibration characteristic of the monitoring target and stores data indicating the newly measured vibration characteristic in the memory; and in response to a stored data transfer request from the command center, transfers the stored data via the sensor node radio communicator to the command center.

System, method, and recording medium for queue management in a forwarder

A queue management method, system, and recording medium include a queue examining device configured to examine a reverse flow queue from a forwarder for an acknowledged packet and a dropping device configured to drop a packet in a forward flow queue if the packet in the forward flow queue includes the acknowledged packet in the reverse flow queue.

A detection device includes: a detection circuit that performs detection processing based on a signal from a physical quantity transducer and outputs detection data; an interface that has communication connection with an external device and outputs the detection data to the external device; and a processing circuit. The processing circuit outputs the detection data acquired from the detection circuit at a common acquisition timing common to at least one other detection device and the own detection device, to the interface in a data transmitting order of own detection device.

AUTOMATIC INSPECTION SYSTEM AND AUTOMATIC INSPECTION METHOD

An automatic inspection system, which includes a wireless slave device having a reading device that acquires a physical quantity to be inspected and a wireless master device that receives measurement data of the physical quantity from the wireless slave device, is provided with a data collection device that collects the measurement data from the wireless slave device via the wireless master device in a constant cycle and detects a time zone in which the measurement data is non-acquirable by the reading device based on a result of the collection. The wireless master device performs control to avoid the wireless slave device from re-acquisition of the measurement data in the non-acquirable time zone based on a result of the detection of the non-acquirable time zone.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF AN ALL PURPOSE BROADBAND NETWORK WITH PUBLISH SUBSCRIBE BROKER NETWORK

A cellular base station connected to a communication network is adapted to provide communication services to a plurality of mobile devices. A server connected to the communication network includes a first publish-subscribe broker communications facility as part of a publish-subscribe broker network including one or more publish-subscribe broker communications facilities. The publish-subscribe broker network is operable to distribute published data packets between entities that have published data packets and entities that have subscribed to receive the published data packets via the publish-subscribe broker network. A second entity connected to any of the publish-subscribe broker communications facilities in the publish-subscribe broker network accepts communications from the mobile device if the second entity subscribes to data published by the mobile device through the publish-subscribe broker communications facility to which the second entity is connected.
