System and method for inter-disciplinary teaching curriculum to combine the arts with core studies
A method for an inter-disciplinary teaching curriculum to combine the arts with core studies, comprising placing within quadrants of a circle, the circle being defined on a surface of an object, a plurality of circular sector objects of various sizes in relation to the circle, the plurality of circular sector objects having displayed thereon a music note according to the size of the particular circular sector object, performing a rhythm depicted by the music notes displayed on the circular sector objects that were placed into the quadrants of the circle, and analyzing a plurality of information displayed on each one of the plurality of circular sector objects, the plurality of information displayed on each one of the plurality of circular sector objects being associated with the size of the particular circular sector object.
Calibration of haptic device using sensor harness
A haptic calibration device comprises a signal generator configured to receive the subjective force value and the force location from a subjective magnitude input device. The signal generator also receives from at least one of a plurality of haptic sensors a sensor voltage value, with the at least one of the plurality of haptic sensors corresponding to the force location. The signal generator stores the subjective force value and the corresponding sensor voltage value in a data store. The signal generator generates a calibration curve indicating a correspondence between subjective force values and sensor voltage values for the location where the subjective force was experienced using the data from the data store, wherein the calibration curve is used to calibrate a haptic feedback device.
Educational lamp
A kit for assembling and decorating a lamp that educates children about scientific, engineering, and artistic principles. Assembling the lamp housing teaches children about fasteners, tools, and mechanisms. Assembling the electronics teaches children about electronic components. Controlling the lights teaches children about lighting, colors, and software.

MULTISENSORY LEARNING DEVICES AND SYSTEM FOR TEACHING USING THE METHOD OF MULTISENSORY LEARNING
A multisensory learning system incorporates a plurality of connectable multisensory elements. Each multisensory element may be a piece, a tile, or a block, and includes a surface containing a single character recessed into the surface to form a track. The track may guide a user's finger into the recessed area containing a tactile pattern at a base thereof. The tactile pattern heightens the sensory perception of the character to aid in learning. Each multisensory element is capable of being attached to another multisensory element in order to string characters together. In use, tracing of the tactile pattern of the character triggers the combination of sensations of kinesthetic learning through the motion of tracing and tactile learning through the feel of the tactile pattern in the recessed characters. This may be combined with audiovisual learning by looking at the character(s) and speaking the name.

PUZZLE SET AND METHOD THEREFOR
A puzzle set comprises a plurality of cubes, each configured with a drawing at one or more of its facets; and an interface configured to cause the cubes to be positioned one adjacent to the other while permitting a change in disposition and rotational state of any of the cubes. The drawings are designed to allow continuation of one another, by which viewable contiguous facets define together a composite symbol, upon positioning the cubes in accordance with a predetermined arrangement. At least one of the facets is rotatable in relation to other facets when the cubes are positioned one adjacent to the other, allowing rotation of its drawing without separating the cubes. In a method for generating a viewable object, a facet is displaced and rotated until the drawing on each of the viewable contiguous facets are in continuation of one another to define together the viewable object.
Piano cards music theory teaching method and apparatus
A system of teaching piano playing and music theory having piano cards. Piano cards are a flash card system with piano note information on each card. These piano cards are placed above piano keys of a piano or other keyboard designating keys to be played in a specific scale. Black and white triangles on these piano cards designate ebony and ivory keys to be played and can only be placed on a keyboard correctly if aligning white and black triangles with ebony and ivory keys. Triangles designate fingers to be used on fingering cards by way of numbers designating fingers. On music theory cards numbers inside triangles designate scale degrees. On chord cards numbers designate degrees to be played. This music teaching system further comprises a music wheel that has been color coded designating the key a scale is in.
