Fitness monitoring device with user engagement metric functionality
Methods, apparatuses, and systems are provided for interacting with a user to promote engagement with a fitness monitoring device configured to measure a fitness parameter of the user, which may include determining, by one or more processors in at least one of the fitness monitoring device or a device in communication with the fitness monitoring device, that user engagements with the fitness monitoring device have occurred on multiple occasions, in which each user engagement produces at least one measurement of the fitness parameter; receiving, by the one or more processors, information indicating a level of engagement metric for the user based, at least in part, on multiple detected the multiple user engagements with the fitness monitoring device; and generating, by the one or more processors and based on the level of engagement metric, a notification containing information relating to at least a level of user engagement with the fitness monitoring device or the fitness parameter.

Digital pen with enhanced educational feedback
Disclosed is a digital pen that tracks the user's writing and provides useful feedback based on the user's writing. In one embodiment, the pen may provide feedback when the user has written a misspelled word, invalid mathematical expression, or any noncompliant expression. The pen may also provide feedback relating to the user's handwriting. The feedback may be visual, auditory, or tactile, and may be realtime or delayed. Statistics relating to the user's performance may be tracked, uploaded to external devices, and shared with others. This allows the user and interested parties to track the user's progress over time. The disclosed pen will be useful in educational settings.

SYSTEM OF AND METHOD FOR FACILITATING ON-DEVICE TRAINING AND CREATING, UPDATING, AND DISSEMINATING MICRO-LEARNING SIMULATIONS
A system of and method for facilitating on-device training and creating, updating, and disseminating micro-leaning simulations is provided. The system utilizes a trio of core tools, which are Simulator tool, a Creation tool, and a management and monitoring tool. These tools are utilized to develop tracks, modules, and lessons for users to complete and demonstrate proficiency. The system provides for recreation of native mobile applications from screenshots and utilizing these recreations for the development of sandboxed lessons without need to access the native application during training. The system also includes utilizing mobile device features and peripherals to create a realistic training simulation.
Symbiotic helper
In one embodiment, a computer-based method includes detecting a state of a user and detecting a stimulus in an environment of the user. The computer-based method then provides a variable level of assistance to the user based on the detected state of the user and the detected stimulus in the environment. In another embodiment, detecting the stimulus in the environment of the user may include detecting a visual stimulus, an auditory stimulus, a physical stimulus, a vibratory stimulus, an electro-magnetic stimulus, an olfactory stimulus, a temperature stimulus, or a movement stimulus. Detecting the state of the user may include detecting natural language spoken by the user. The resulting variable level of assistance utilizes a range of immersive virtual reality, augmented reality and sparsely augmented reality. 3D models of the user's situation (the environment) may be employed in the variable levels of assistance.
