The dual experience allows the person new mental processing capabilities that can produce novel information synthesis, double the information input in man machine interfaces, and allow reaction to the cognitive awareness of two simultaneous world views. This includes facilitating awareness and interactions with two different computer screen interfaces simultaneously, reducing fatigue associated with optical screen switching, and encouraging the fusion of two different simultaneous experiences into an abstract information synthesis.

The controller also determines the second operating characteristic of a work implement operatively connected to the first linkage member, compares the second operating characteristic to the second threshold, and generates and displays a second rating for the second quantitatively measurable task based upon the second operating characteristic and the second threshold.

PERSONALIZED LEARNING BASED ON FUNCTIONAL SUMMARIZATION
Personalized learning based on functional summarization is disclosed. One example is a system including a content processor, a plurality of summarization engines, at least one meta-algorithmic pattern, an evaluator, and a selector. The content processor provides course material to be learned, the course material selected from a corpus of educational content, and identifies retained material indicative of a portion of the course material retained by user. Each of the plurality of summarization engines provides a differential summary indicative of differences between the course material and the retained material. The at least one meta-algorithmic pattern is applied to at least two differential summaries to provide a meta-summary using the at least two differential summaries. The evaluator determines a value of each differential summary and meta-summary. The selector selects a meta-algorithmic pattern or a summarization engine that provides the meta-summary or differential summary, respectively, having the highest assessed value.

SPEECH THERAPEUTIC DEVICES AND METHODS
Disclosed herein are speech therapeutic devices and methods. In one aspect, the speech therapeutic device includes audio input circuitry, signal processing circuitry, and stimulus circuitry. In certain embodiments, the audio input circuitry is configured to provide an input signal that is indicative of speech provided by a user and the signal processing circuitry is configured to utilize a reconfigurable rule that includes a condition, receive the input signal, process the input signal using the reconfigurable rule, and provide an alert signal responsive to attainment of the condition. The stimulus circuitry is configured to receive the alert signal and provide a stimulus to the user. The signal processing circuitry is additionally configured to (i) receive the reconfigurable rule from a communication network, and/or (ii) generate a record indicative of the alert signal, store the record in a memory, and send the record to a communication network.

DYNAMIC TARGET RATE FOR GUIDED BREATHING
Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for dynamically adjusting a breathing entrainment based on whether a user is stressing or relaxing. According to an aspect, a first target breathing period is selected, and a guiding stimulus configured to alter a current breathing period of the user towards the first target breathing period over an interval of time is output. One or more relaxation biometrics are measured and analyzed to determine whether the user is stressing or relaxing. Based on whether the user is relaxing or stressing, at least one of the guided stimulus and the first target breathing period are adjusted, where the first target breathing period is adjusted to a second target breathing period different from the first target breathing period. By making adjustments based on whether a user is relaxing or stressing, the breathing entrainment is more effective and comfortable for users.
