Systems and methods for computerized interactive skill training
The present invention is directed to interactive training, and in particular, to methods and systems for computerized interactive skill training. An example embodiment provides a method and system for providing skill training using a computerized system. The computerized system receives a selection of a first training subject. Several related training components can be invoked, such as reading, watching, performing, and/or reviewing components. In addition, a scored challenge session is provided, wherein a training challenge is provided to a user via a terminal, optionally in video form.

Simulation therapy for autism spectrum disorder
An adaptive computer simulation rendering system is disclosed for conditioning an individual having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to real-world environments through variable sensory output in computer simulations. The subject is fully or partially immersed in a computer-simulated environment for a time-limited session. Real-time monitoring of the human subject is performed for a change in a sensor-derived, quantified sensory load level. Responsive to an increase in sensory load level, the computer-simulated environment modulates the sensor load on the individual. The human subject adapts to increasingly complex environments by this modulation of simulation thereby providing therapeutic benefit to the individual with ASD.
WELDING TRAINING SYSTEM
A welding training system includes one or more welding operator device which provides positional feedback relevant to a quality weld. The positional feedback is analyzed and, when the positional feedback is outside of a predetermined range, a signal is provided to the welding operator. In one embodiment, tactile feedback is provided in a welding gun.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A DIGITAL SIMULATION OF AN INSTALLATION, AND CORRESPONDING COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A system and method for providing a digital simulation of a technical installation, and a corresponding computer program product, wherein the digital simulation is dynamically generated such that the digital simulation is adapted to a specified training scenario. This is accomplished using a provided basic class, which implements, independently of devices, functions of elementary hardware components, and using a library of virtual devices, which deterministically simulate the topology and the functional behavior of corresponding real devices. The virtual devices have a hierarchically nested structure, such that a hierarchically higher device comprises at least one hierarchically lower device and/or at least one of the elementary hardware components.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A DIGITAL SIMULATION OF AN INSTALLATION, AND CORRESPONDING COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A system and method for providing a digital simulation of a technical installation, and a corresponding computer program product, wherein the digital simulation is dynamically generated such that the digital simulation is adapted to a specified training scenario. WELD TRAINING SYSTEMS WITH RESETTABLE TARGET TOOL IMAGES
Described herein are examples of weld training systems that show (e.g., transparent and/or translucent) “ghost” images of a welding tool on a display screen of a welding headgear to indicate target positions and/or target orientations of an actual welding tool. In some examples, the weld training systems may additionally “reset” the target tool image to a position closer to the actual welding tool if the target tool image gets too far away. The ability to “reset” the target tool image to a position closer to the actual welding tool may help in minimizing a risk that an operator 106 will overcompensate to try to catch up with the target tool image, which can be detrimental to the weld. Additionally, resetting the target tool image to a position closer the welding tool may allow an operator to better perceive and/or understand differences in orientation and/or other technique parameters.
