Evaluation method, and evaluation apparatus
A computer-readable recording medium stores therein an evaluation program, the evaluation program causing a computer to execute a process including, acquiring, from a plurality of captured images obtained by sequential image capturing, a motion of a person taking a beat in the plurality of captured images, or a timing at which the person takes the beat; and outputting an evaluation on a rhythm of the motion of the person based on a rhythm indicated by the acquired motion or the acquired timing.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACCESSIBLE COMPUTER-USER SCENARIOS
Implementations described herein relate to methods, systems, and computer-readable media for accessible computer-user scenarios. For example, a method can include displaying a graphical user interface on a display screen. The graphical user interface includes a virtual assessment, the virtual assessment is representative of an assessment examination, and the graphical user interface further comprises a graphical region that represents a portion of a logical problem of the assessment examination. The method can also include determining placement and/or alignment of an embossed screen overlay that allows a visually-disabled person to interact with the computer.
SIMULATOR FOR PRACTICING TRANS-ORAL SURGERY AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
Simulators for practicing trans-oral surgery and methods of use thereof, are described. The simulator may include a simulated soft palate musculature adjacent to the simulated hard palate, and a simulated mucosal layer covering at least a portion of the simulated hard palate and at least a portion of the simulated soft palate musculature, wherein the simulated mucosal layer is configured to conform to and follow the contours of surface features of the covered portions of the simulated hard palate and simulated soft palate musculature.

SENSORY DETERMINATIVE ADAPTIVE AUDIO RENDERING
An adaptive audio rendering system is disclosed for conditioning an individual to real-world environments through variable audio output in computer simulations. The subject is fully or partially immersed in a computer-simulated environment for a time-limited session. Real-time monitoring of the human subject is performed for a change in a sensor-derived, quantified sensory load level. Responsive to an increase in sensory load level, the computer-simulated environment modulates the quantity of audio information such as background noise, background dialog, foreground dialog and foreground noise. The human subject adapts to increasingly complex environments by this modulation of audible information.
DOOR BREACH TRAINING SYSTEM
A door breach training system usable within the door opening of a training structure. The system comprises a door and a frame having a lunge jamb and a lock jamb. The hinge jamb is connected to the door with at least one hinge. The system has at least one mount-and-socket pair having a frame mount connected to the frame, a frame socket connected to the frame mount, a door mount connected to the door, and a door socket connected to the door. One or more pins may engage the mount-and-socket pairs to prevent the door from opening, which, during training, much be sheared or crushed.
Centralized Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Activity System
The present disclosure provides a centralised virtual and augmented reality activity system comprising a plurality of co-located virtual reality suites, each fully equipped with virtual reality accessories and set in an environment that is safe and spacious. The user devices of each suite are managed by a central server, also in the same location, which allows for interactions both between users of the different suites and facilitates normal interaction between the user devices and the internet.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INDUSTRIAL PROCESS CONTROL AND AUTOMATION SYSTEM OPERATOR EVALUATION AND TRAINING
A method includes obtaining at least one model associating areas of competency with job roles and job responsibilities of personnel, the at least one model also associating the areas of competency with curricula of training exercises and content. The method also includes obtaining a library of intervention assets associated with the areas of competency, the intervention assets comprising content for training personnel in at least one of the areas of competency. The method further includes evaluating a trainee to determine a competency gap analysis of the trainee, the competency gap analysis comprising a competency gap associated with job responsibilities of the trainee, the competency gap identifying at least one of the areas of competency in which the trainee requires training. In addition, the method includes providing web-based training to the trainee based on the competency gap, the training comprising at least one intervention asset and at least one intervention activity.
Accelerated Learning, Entertainment and Cognitive Therapy Using Augmented Reality Comprising Combined Haptic, Auditory, and Visual Stimulation
A plurality of first sensory cues are generated capable of being perceived by a user. Each first sensory cue of the plurality of first sensory cues is dependent on a position of at least one body member of a performer relative to a performance element of a performance object with which an event is performed. The plurality of first sensory cues being effective for stimulating a first processing center of a brain of the user. A plurality of visual sensory cues are generated capable of being displayed to the user on a video display device. The visual sensory cues providing a virtual visual indication to the user of the position of the at least one body member. The visual sensory cues being effective for stimulating the visual processing center of the brain of the user. The visual sensory cues being synchronized with the first sensory cues so that the position of the at least one body member is virtually visually indicated in synchronization with the first sensory cue and so that the visual processing center is stimulated with a visual sensory cue in synchronization with a first sensory cue stimulating the first processing center. The synchronized stimulation of the first processing center and the visual processing center is effective for teaching the user to perform a version of the event.
