Electronic handwriting analysis through adaptive machine-learning
An improved machine learning system is provided. For example, a content management server may provide a digital assessment of a user's handwriting to assess the user's knowledge of a language. The assessment may comprise adaptive technology to help determine initial questions to provide to the user as well as follow-up questions to clarify appropriate remediation content in a particular context. The content management server may also provide real-time analysis, including assessing multiple users at the same time in adjusting the assessment based on the digital input from each of these users. In some examples, the content management server may incorporate handwriting analysis methods to perform object detection and score handwriting input.
Cellophane cut out kits for optical art
One or more transparent or translucent sheets of cellophane are folded and cuts are made to create symmetric patterns and designs. The cellophane creates diffraction, refraction, interference, and reflection pattern of light that become strikingly visible when viewed under polarized light. The cellophane patterns and designs are placed on top of one another such that the holes in the overlapping sheets cause a variation in the path of light traveling through the layers of the cellophane, creating beautiful and varied optical patterns of light that change with the placement of the layers of cellophane and with variation of the angle of polarized light for a kaleidoscope effect. The cellophane is viewed against the backdrop of a blue sky to provide a source of polarized light. Placing the cellophane on glossy black cardboard brings out the prismatic colors created by light refraction and reflection.

WRITING IMPLEMENT
The present invention provides a writing implement, including a pen tube, a guiding element, a motion sensor, and a controller. An end portion of the pen tube is provided with a nib. The guiding element and the motion sensor are disposed on the pen tube, and the guiding element is controlled by the controller. In the process of writing, the motion sensor detects words and pencraft characteristics when a user holds the pen tube for writing, and the controller controls the guiding element to generate a guiding force to guide the words and pencraft characteristics when writing, to approach or be equal to words and pencraft characteristics prepared to be written. Therefore, the present invention may train a user to copy the handwriting of a master or actively guide the user to wield the pen by means of the writing implement.

METHOD FOR FREEHAND SKETCH TRAINING
A computer-based method and system for teaching educational sketching includes receiving a user-generated image created in response to a learning assignment and comparing the user-generated image to a solution image to identify one or more errors in the user-generated image relative to the solution image, where the errors may include additional image elements and missing image elements. Comparing is performed by providing a solution region corresponding to an acceptable variation from the solution image and identifying one or more errors based on a presence or absence of at least a portion of a corresponding element of the user-generated image within the solution region. If errors are identified and a non-passing status is determined, a hint is displayed to the user. The hint may be the correct elements of the user-generated image, a portion of the solution image, or a combination thereof.

System and Method for Writing Analysis
At least one computer readable medium encoded with instructions that, when executed on a computer system, perform a method for determining one or more fluency characteristics of a writer from a piece of their prepared text and providing data to enable characterisation of the writer fluency. The method includes the steps of receiving text data carrying information on the piece of writing to be characterised; enumerating a set of sentences in the piece of writing, wherein each sentence is identified by applying a set of stored rules to the text data; determining a sentence type for each sentence within the piece of text by relating data carrying information on each sentence to stored rules and/or type data; aggregating a data set dependent on the sentence types identified and dependent on a defined aggregation operation; Characterisation data carrying information writer fluency measured dependent on the data set is generated.

CHINESE CHARACTER INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD
The present invention provides a Chinese character information recording method and a Chinese character stroke order recognition figure in an information recording method. A Chinese character structure is split into several parts step by step according to a simplicity rule in the Chinese character information recording method, and the several parts are sequenced, so as to recognize an approximate stroke order of the Chinese character structure. Similarly, approximate stroke orders of most Chinese characters can be recognized. With reference to a special situation table of a Chinese character stroke order, a step of recognizing a stroke of a Chinese character, and a step of recording a Chinese character by using an information recording tool according to a stroke order, most Chinese characters can be recorded successfully, thereby helping a beginner of the Chinese character to shorten time for successfully recording a Chinese character. Approximate stroke orders of most Chinese characters can be recognized simply by using the Chinese character stroke order recognition figure.
