Music learning aid
A music learning aid, comprising: a first rotatable circular substrate having a radius (R1) comprising an in-use first visible circular scale displayed on the first substrate, the visible display comprising a plurality of indicia for indicating corresponding musical notes such that the musical notes indicated in the visible display scale ascend in frequency in a clock-wise or anti-clockwise direction; a second circular substrate having a radius (R3), the second substrate being arranged to be substantially concentric and rotatable relative to the first substrate by the fastening arrangement to enable the second substrate to rotate relative to the first substrates, the second substrate comprising a polygon with vertices of the polygon being located along the circumference of the second substrate, the second substrate comprising respective indicia corresponding to each of the vertices for indicating a respective musical mode selected from a set of a plurality of musical modes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMPUTERIZED INTERACTIVE SKILL TRAINING
The present invention is directed to interactive training, and in particular, to methods and systems for computerized interactive skill training. An example embodiment provides a method and system for providing skill training using a computerized system. The computerized system receives a selection of a first training subject. Several related training components can be invoked, such as reading, watching, performing, and/or reviewing components. In addition, a scored challenge session is provided, wherein a training challenge is provided to a user via a terminal, optionally in video form.

SYNCHRONIZED AUDIOVISUAL WORK
The teachings described herein are generally directed to a system, method, and apparatus for separating and mixing tracks within music. The system can have a video that is synchronized with the variations in the musical tempo through a variable timing reference track designed and provided for a user of the preselected performance that was prerecorded, wherein the designing of the variable timing reference track includes creating a tempo map having variable tempos, rhythms, and beats using notes from the preselected performance.

PLAYBACK, RECORDING, AND ANALYSIS OF MUSIC SCALES VIA SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
Playback, recording, and analysis of music scales via software configuration. In an embodiment, a graphical user interface is generated with staff and keyboard canvases, visually representing a music staff and keyboard, respectively, a scale input, parameter input(s), and a play input. In response to selection of a scale, the staff canvas is updated to visually represent the notes in the scale. In response to the selection of a musical parameter, the staff canvas and/or keyboard canvas are updated to reflect the musical parameter. In response to selection of the play input, a soundtrack of the scale is output, while simultaneously highlighting the note, being played, on the staff canvas and the key, associated with the note being played, on the keyboard canvas.
Method, system, app or kit of parts for teaching musical rhythm, in particular percussion
Musical rhythm, is taught using a sequenced rhythm pattern, wherein a user's strike within a time window around each note maintains suppression of audible output. If a strike falls outside the time window, output resumes.

Cognitive training system and method
A cognitive training method having a processor to store exercise category data which has a number of task data, each of the task data including levels of difficulty. There is included a visual display and an audio transducer and a user interfaces actuated to accept user data in response to a selected task. The user data is sent from the user interface to the processor and the processor stores and evaluates the user input data and based upon evaluation of the user input data, adjusts a subsequent level of difficulty associated with a selected task. If user input data is above a correct data threshold, the level of difficulty may be adjusted responsive to an evaluation of the user input data. Values of training parameters are adjusted at least partially in accordance with stored user parameters, and there is transmitted to the user interface and to the user adjusted values of exercise and training parameters where at least one training task is selected to include a cue stimulus, a probe stimulus, and a distractor stimulus. A task difficulty is adjusted by selectively adjusting the task difficulty of the cue stimulus difficulty, the difficulty of the probe stimulus, and difficulty of the distractor stimulus.
