Enhance Writer Tool
Implemented is an enhance writer tool that can be used for young children while learning to read and write alpha-numeric symbols. The enhance writer tool is a flat panel that has various alpha-numeric insignia on both sides, a front and rear side. The enhance writer tool includes an opening in the middle portion that can be used for a student to practice writing their letters and numbers. While writing on paper, the student can easily reference any letter in the alphabet and numbers by looking at the perimeter around the center opening. As both sides of the enhance writer tool can have written insignia, the student can flip the tool depending on whether they wish to reference, for example, lower-case or upper-case letters.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING VOICE-ANIMATED MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
A system and methods for displaying voice-animated multimedia content through a story. A computer-implemented method for animating multimedia content includes creating a customized story based on input from a user, the input determining one or more words and one or more types of multimedia content for the story; synchronizing the one or more types of multimedia content to match the one or more words of the story; displaying the words of the story to a user via a computing device; determining whether the words of the story were correctly vocalized in the correct order by the user; playing the multimedia content through a display and an audio output on the computing device in response to one or more correctly vocalized words in the story by the user; and analyzing the user's reading and pronunciation of the words in the story.
MODIFYING WORD STRUCTURE BASED ON READING COMPREHENSION LEVELS USING MACHINE LEARNING
Using a trained machine learning model for modifying word structures in financial literacy content based on age is provided. For example, a computing system can determine a first reading comprehension level for a set of financial literacy content. The set of financial literacy content can include sentences. The computing system can input the sentences into a trained machine learning model. The computing system can receive one or more updates to the sentences from the trained machine learning model. The computing system can generate an updated set of financial literacy content based on the one or more updates to the sentences. The one or more updates to the sentences can have a second reading comprehension level that is different than the first reading comprehension level. The computing system can output the updated set of financial literacy content as a graphical user interface to a user device associated with a user account.
TEACHING AID
A teaching aid for those learning to tell time and learn the alphabet of a language. The teaching aid includes an interactive touchscreen alphabetic display. The present invention may assist in teaching the alphabet through providing a tactile-interactive medium, the touchscreen alphabetic display, for a user to select specific alphabetic characters and be provided visual feedback in the form of an image associate or corresponding with each selected alphabetic character. The teaching aid also provides a clock display for teaching time to the user.
TOY WITH LIGHT EMITTING DIODE
A toy has one or more LED light sources positioned on the toy so the light source illuminates beyond the toy. A toy to be worn on the human finger comprises a body includes an anchoring portion for receiving or locating a finger or fingers. A finger puppet toy permits for at least one of a reading tool and a light source or an enhancement of other toys or writings. A LED or other light source is operated on the toy to interact with photo-luminescent ink and other inks. A photo-luminescent ink and other inks are pre-printed or included in a decoration on the surface of another item such as a book or other toy. The toy is a reading tool or a light source or an enhancement of other toys or writings. The LED light sources include a black light and may include other LED lights of other colors. The lights are connected to a circuit board and an integrated power source, which are connected to a switch encased on the toy. The mechanism, number and location of LED lights, the circuit board, wiring, power source and switch are further defined based on the shape of the character of the toy.
Interactive phonics game system and method
A system for encouraging a child to learn to read, comprising a computing device and at least one physical manipulative, wherein the computing device can identify the physical manipulative and display at least one word relating to the physical manipulative. In an embodiment, a letter identification hoard with letter manipulatives is included, wherein a child can spell out a word on the letter identification board and the computing device shows an animation of the physical manipulative performing the action indicated by the word.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR DETERMINING A READING ERROR DISTANCE METRIC
Described and disclosed herein are embodiments of systems, methods and computer program products for determining a grapho-phonetic strategy (GPS) metric that informs how far a particular word-reading error is from the target word and explains where the breakdown occurred. For example, if a person saw the word cat and mis-read it as cap the GPS metric would be low, suggesting that this particular error was not that far from the target word. However, if a person mis-read cat as climb the GPS metric would be higher because they only read the initial sound correctly. The GPS metric can be calculated for each mispronounced word in a passage and totaled to yield a passage score. The GPS metric can also be used to develop a tailored improvement process for the person.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PROVIDING DYSLEXIC READABLE IMAGES
Dyslexic friendly and readable images are provided. Each image includes one or more positioned, non-linear (i.e., curved) boundaries and a plurality of textual objects, where each object is positioned at a distance from the boundaries and follows a boundary.
System and methods for transforming language into interactive elements
A computer operable method is described for transforming phonemes, graphemes, and other language structures into interactive elements. The method may comprise, receiving a word, wherein the word consists of a group of phonemes; forming a group of graphemes, wherein the group of graphemes is constructed using information relating to the group of phonemes; and forming a group of manipulatives, wherein the group of manipulatives is constructed using information relating to the group of phonemes or the group of graphemes.
