Exercise assisting device and exercise assisting method
An exercise assisting device and exercise assisting method are provided. The device performs the following operations: transmitting a first control signal, the first control signal is related to a motion demonstration video corresponding to an exercise course data; receiving a video stream of a user; analyzing the video stream to generate a motion recognition result corresponding to the exercise course data of the user, and determining whether a motion target value is achieved according to the motion recognition result and the exercise course data; and when the motion target value is not achieved, the motion recognition result and the motion target value are input into an expert suggestion model to generate a follow-up motion suggestion and to determine a follow-up motion demonstration video corresponding to the follow-up motion suggestion.
Adjustable virtual scenario-based training environment
A virtual environment may be generated, the environment including a procedurally generated virtual property. The virtual property may include various features automatically generated based upon a procedural rule set, so as to provide variability between two or more virtual properties. One or more procedurally generated virtual properties may be provided to a user, and various virtual tools may be provided via which the user may identify relevant aspects corresponding to risk associated with the virtual property.
Smart booklet with integrated behavior incentivization and tracking features
A method of configuring a smart booklet to encourage adherence to a treatment and/or educational program is disclosed, wherein the smart booklet is “off the grid” (e.g., not connected to an electrical or networking grid) and includes an integrated behavior incentivization feature. Based on an activation of a detection feature of the smart booklet, it is detected whether a state of one or more pages of the smart booklet has changed. Based on the determination that the state of the one or more pages has changed, a set of data items pertaining to the adherence to the treatment and/or educational program is created or updated. Based on an identification that the set of data items is indicative of a failure or a success with respect to the adherence to the treatment program, a message pertaining to the failure or the success is communicated via an output component of the smart booklet (e.g., to encourage the adherence to the treatment and/or educational program).

Hygiene management device and hygiene management method
According to one or more embodiment, a hygiene management device includes a processor. The processor determines based on image recognition whether a plurality of predetermined procedures of a hand-washing action have been completed by a subject. The processor executes different types of processing, such as, for example, opening or closing a passage, depending on completion or incompletion of each of the plurality of predetermined procedures.
Intelligent cooking process flow
Techniques related to promoting consistent cooking event outcomes are disclosed. Natural language processing (NLP) is used to promote the consistent cooking event outcomes. Data is acquired from a sensor that is monitoring a cooking preparation area. Based on the data, an event is identified. The event is modeled using NLP, which then predicts a subsequent event that will likely occur in the cooking preparation area. NLP is also used to select a recipe. A list of instructions included in the selected recipe are displayed in a user interface.
Hands-on laboratory and demonstration equipment with a hybrid virtual/augmented environment, along with their methods of use
Systems and methods for utilizing laboratory equipment in a hybrid reality environment or augmented virtual reality environment, are contemplated herein and include: at least one piece of laboratory equipment having at least one feature, wherein the at least one piece of laboratory equipment is tracked; a tracking module for tracking a position and an orientation of the at least one piece of tracked laboratory equipment; a virtual model, stored in a memory, comprising at least one 3-D virtual representation of the at least one feature of the at least one piece of laboratory equipment; and an experimentation module. A piece of laboratory equipment for use in a hybrid reality environment or augmented virtual reality environment is also included that comprises at least one piece of laboratory equipment having at least one feature, wherein the at least one piece of laboratory equipment is tracked; at least one marker that is coupled with the at least one piece of laboratory equipment; and a tracking module for tracking a position and an orientation of the at least one piece of tracked laboratory equipment, wherein the tracking module accesses the at least one marker.

Tactile system
A haptic system includes a haptic device and a control device. A sensor of the haptic device detects contact of a finger of a user who grips a casing, a determination unit of the control device determines whether sensor information on a contact position of the finger detected by the sensor of the haptic device matches preset reference position information, and an instruction unit sends a notification unit a notification instruction in at least one of cases where the sensor information does not match the reference position information and where the sensor information matches the reference position information. On accepting the notification instruction, the notification unit of the haptic device notifies the user of an indication indicating that the contact position of the finger is shifted or an indication indicating that the contact position of the finger matches the reference position.
Information processing system, information processing apparatus, and non-transitory storage medium
An information processing system comprises a sensor configured to sense a first posture that a user is taking; a storage configured to store posture data about a posture of a person; and a controller configured to create advice for the user regarding a negative influence on a body of the user, based on sensor data acquired from the sensor and the posture data.
