Device, Method, and Graphical User Interface for Controlling Multiple Devices in an Accessibility Mode
In accordance with some embodiments, a method is performed at a first device with one or more processors, non-transitory memory, and a display. The method includes displaying, on the display, a device control transfer affordance while operating the first device based on user input from an input device that is in communication with the first device. The method includes receiving a device control transfer user input from the input device selecting the device control transfer affordance that is displayed on the display of the first device. In response to receiving the device control transfer user input, the method includes configuring a second device to be operated based on user input from the input device and ceasing to operate the first device based on user input from the input device.
HANDHELD, PORTABLE VISION AID DEVICE AND VISION AID SYSTEM
A vision aid device comprises a housing having a proximal end, a distal end and a longitudinal axis therebetween. The proximal end has an eyepiece for holding up to an eye and viewing into the vision aid device to view a video display mounted within the housing. A camera is mounted within the housing at the distal end of the housing and is aimed in the direction of the longitudinal axis. A controller is mounted in the housing and is operably coupled to the camera and the video display. The controller is configured to: activate the camera to capture images in a field of view of the camera; and magnify the images to a currently set magnification and display on the display the magnified images on the video display. The device may have a finder function for toggling between the magnified view and an unmagnified view.
OBJECT DETECTION AND WARNING TRAINING BOARD
A recreational and/or sports type transport (board) having an object detection and proximity warning system. The board uses sensors and calculates the distance from object, and then warns the user of the proximity of same through tactile and/or audio feedback.
INPUT APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An input apparatus includes a touch panel and a processor. The touch panel is configured to receive a first input of giving a first instruction that a dot configuring a braille character corresponds to a dotted protrusion through a first operation and a second input of giving a second instruction different from the first instruction of the first input through a second operation different from the first operation. The processor is configured to identify the braille character based on the first input and the second input received by the touch panel and searches for one or more process functions corresponding to the braille character identified by the processor.
NARRATIVE TEXT AND VOCAL COMPUTER GAME USER INTERFACE
A narrative engine receives, from a user application providing a user interface via input and output devices of a computing device, object metadata descriptive of the content of the user interface. An augmented description of the user interface is generated, the augmented description including a description of surroundings in the user interface and a listing of actions to be performed to the user interface. The augmented description is presented using the output devices. User input requesting one of the actions is processed. The augmented description is updated based on the user input.
BRAILLE DISPLAY AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to a braille display and an electronic device including the same. The braille display according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a base configured to be provided as a perpendicularly polarized plate-shaped magnet and have through holes formed in a perpendicular direction according to a predetermined arrangement; pins configured to be respectively inserted in the through holes so that an upper end of each pin perpendicularly moves between a first position at which the pin protrudes from an upper surface of the base and a second position at which the pin is accommodated in one of the through holes, the pins expressing braille by means of a combination of individual pins located at the first position; and coils configured to be installed to be respectively wound around the pins and move the pins up and down by receiving current and interacting with the magnet.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
To make it possible to reduce a human load for a cutaneous sensation control setting corresponding to an image. Provided is an image processing device including: an infrared image acquisition unit that acquires an infrared image of an imaged object; a visible light image acquisition unit that acquires a visible light image of the imaged object; a generation unit that generates cutaneous sensation control parameters on the basis of the infrared image acquired by the infrared image acquisition unit; and a data processing unit that associates the visible light image acquired by the visible light image acquisition unit with the cutaneous sensation control parameters generated by the generation unit.
